  • now thats a movie star kids

  • craig ferguson surpasses david letterman in every way, by far the best talk show in america

  • @mrhammer1777, God I wish we had him on the telly down here...Letterman sucks!

  • @mrhammer1777 Do The Daily Show and Colbert Report count as talk shows?

  • @mrhammer1777 I like Craig fine, but David Letterman has no modern peer. Letterman is still the greatest.

  • @KellyGreen5555 Letterman is not what he was during the 1980's/-early '93 with NBC. Letterman today is a bitter man who still holds a grudge against NBC for not getting the Tonight Show after Carson. Craig, and pre-2007 writers strike Conan were what Dave used to be before he moved to CBS. Craig Ferguson is the modern version of Johnny Carson.

  • @strangeones4 I could not disagree with you more.

  • Comment removed

  • @KellyGreen5555 Lopez, Conan, Leno, Letterman, Kimmel, and Fallon are not funny today. Letterman used to be funny. Craig Ferguson is funny. Tom Smothers told Craig Ferguson a few years ago that he was the modern Johnny Carson. Don Rickles visits Craig Ferguson as he used to appear on Johnny Carson. Rickels may still visit Kimmel, or Conan. Just count the times Rickles has been with Craig in six years. Case closed!

  • @strangeones4 Don Rickles praises David Letterman at every turn, and has appeared on Letterman's show more times than those other shows combined. Look it up.

Johnny Carson was also a huge champion of Letterman...even appearing on Dave's show after he retired.

The case is not closed...it's what you wish to believe, but it is not the truth.

  • @KellyGreen5555 Craig Ferguson has only been on CBS for six years. Since David Letterman has been a talk show host for 29 years, of course Rickles has appeared more on Letterman than any other show in the last 30 years. The fact that Ferguson's current producer was Johnny's producer during the later years gave Rickles notice to watch. Craig Ferguson has writers, and scientists as second guests. That's what Johnny used to bring to his show. The others don't "risk" it.

  • @strangeones4 Could Jimmy Fallon, Conan, Kimmel, or David Letterman pull off a non-audience talk show (Tom Snyder style, in tribute to his death) with British comedic/intellectual Stephen Fry? Did the above three ever invite Bishop Desmond Tutu for the entire show? The shows are on Youtube, look them up! This is the best late night talk show on American TV. The others are just robotic clowns with very bad jokes. The talking rabbit has more personality than the competition.

  • @strangeones4 Answer this!!!

  • @strangeones4 Your statement only proves how little you know about David Letterman and his show.

  • @KellyGreen5555

You are clueless. I grew up with Letterman during the early-mid 80's. He was my first generation SNL. David Letterman pre-CBS was brilliant!! Have you ever seen an old NBC David Letterman show?? Did post NBC Letterman ever lauch a guy against a wall with Velcro? "Big Ass Ham", paled to what Letterman used to be with NBC. It's called "network" control. Conan found that out as well. Dave's show is dying, because he misses being Craig Ferguson!

  • @strangeones4

Yeah, Letterman stays up late dreaming of "being Craig Ferguson." What a brainless stooge you are! lol

Oh, and don't bother w/ another pointless reply. Your posts have proven not only to be without merit, but also very tiresome.

  • @KellyGreen5555 If you think David Letterman on NBC in 1982 is the David Letterman today, then you are a complete idiot! Tiresome??? .......You can't accept the truth. Letterman's ratings are in the toliet, so it makes Ferguson's show look worse than Jimmy Falllon. Stop wasting my time with your ignorance.

  • @strangeones4 - I grew up with Letterman during the early-mid 80's. He was my first generation SNL. David Letterman pre-CBS was brilliant!!

100% correct, 1980's Letterman was brilliant, his present show is a shadow of its former self. The Pre CBS show in the 12:30 slot was edgy, it had more of a colledge feel, less PC and scripted. For years, quite a few celebrities would not go on his show, because not much was off limits and Dave had a sharp tongue.

  • she would be paying me:))

  • I was so wishing Craig would do his impression of Michael Caine in front of THE Michael Caine. That would be hilarious.

  • @askjaskjaskjaskj

the first time Michael Caine was one the show Craig talked about his impression and played a sketch. ^^

  • Love this dude's sense of humor, haha.

  • A, what a lovely man! He's so funny and just seems like such a wonderful person :)

  • 'The bumblebees help us when the dinosaurs come' I love how he says it with such conviction that for a moment I was like 'yeah of course they would' xD

    Love Michael Caine
