He is good, talented but nonetheless overrated. Call me incredibly biased but when I listen to any of his songs, I think of his douchebaggery and disgusting trysts with those female celebs more than his music as his claim to fame. I honestly don't think he is that great of a musician.

I'm 13 and I feel bad for most of my friends who mostly listen to Justin Bieber & other pop crap that we've heard a thousand times before. Most of my generation don't listen to John Mayer or music like his. Sure they can listen to whatever they want... but they have no idea what they're missing.

JM is one of the top iconic artists of his generation. He makes no excuses that he's a bit goofy, digs chicks & uses his celebrity to his advantage. He's funny and way smarter than the average public gives him credit for. He's one of just a few celebrity who hasn't gone through rehab (lol). Go to his site & read his stuff. I'm not a teeny-bopper w/a crush. I'm an educated professional w/2 little boys who dig his music as much as I do. The world would be ridiculously boring w/o JM in it.
