U channel linear motors are better.
The size, the stroke limit is always a problem.

@dw3015 I think its for C'n'C machines.
@dw3015 don't really know but i bet dollars to donuts its used for a "pick n place" system,,for like assembling circuit boards at factory and whatnot where high repeatability and speed are needed.
