Van "The Man" Morrison, still doing it and still the best at what he does.

I grew up living and learning thru and listening to all the music of the 60's - THEM was one of the better ones - Van Morrison - an amazing singer - We are so blessed to have this footage. Makes me smile - forever. Music makes me ... all of us, I dare say ... immortal.

Well, Morrison wasn't playing Irish music, but stuff based on mostly American black music. When Chinese opera singers (some of the world's best) do Italian opera, hopefully they're going to try to sing with the best Italian accent they can muster, in order to do justice to the genre.

I just don't get how an American accent from a Belfast man when he sings (but not talks) is in anyway more authentic than Dick Van Dyke's mockney in Mary Poppins.  Both highly enjoyable. Both well intentioned. Neither believable.
