Had the pedal for a week. It died. Sent it back and it was replaced, but I still had to pay for shipping. I sold the replacement soon after. The thing sounded okay, but was severely lacking in touch sensitivity. Didn't feel natural at all.

This isn't a true representation. At the end if every demo, Andy should play over a backing track, with other effects, etc. Not many people just play by themselves, no other effects, or in a solo situation. He should show us how it cuts through the mix with some chorus, delay, reverb or something. Great sounding pedal, though!

This may turn out to be the 'Marshall in a box" pedal I've been looking for. I've tried many of them. I have the OCD v.4, but that has too-much bottom-end for my Hot Rod Dlx, almost like that bottom-end is getting in the way of my tone. The Brownie is too-damn-noisy and isn't hairy-enough for my tastes. The only one I've been happy with is my 30 year-old MXR Distortion + (That pedal rocks). It doesn't clean up for sh*t, but it's totally-warm and smooth while still being able to totally-rock.

i own this pedal and an ocd, i love them both. i use the crunch for a dirty sound and the ocd for drive. the ocd is the coolest sounding pedal out there! crank it up and then turn guitar volume down a little and begin creaming all over yourself!!! really that good

I sold it because IMHO it sounds weak compared to other pedals: just ONE sound (full gain and nothing in between), mellow midrange and zero definition when you play more strings, too much compression, no matter how you set the presence or the gain knob.....you'll never feel the bite!

This is an awesome dirt box. If you want a good distortion and aren't trying to blow all of mommy and daddy's money, check this thing out. Pretty solid overdriven tones as well.
