It made sense with what we were doing though. She was going from being a Tomboy to a girly-girl, and singing while your hair is being blown is very glamorous, very diva. We were just having fun with it.

Of course Katy's real videos are much better, but considering that this video was conceptualized, filmed and edited all in 24 hours, we did an okay job. I actually met Katy Perry a couple of summers ago when she was on Warped Tour. She did an autograph session at her merch stand and I was first in line. I figured I'd make this video in hopes that one day she would stumble across it and smile.

The video was great! It would have been better with some more actors in it but as it is right now it's a remarkable effort.

If this video would be done with more budget and some more locations and a couple of actors I can imagine it would be hit.

Yes, the video could have been better, but the whole thing (from concept to final product) was done in 24 hours of non-stop work. And when I say the whole thing, I literally mean the ENTIRE thing was all done in a day. The planning, the filming and the endless hours of editing.
