It´s football cause England invented and since they invented they have the right to call it however the hell they want to. Plus the only contry that call it "soccer" is USA and since they suck at it they have no right no change the name of the most important sport in the world. PD: "Football" and "futbol" are pretty much the same so they count as just one way to say it

Actually you have your facts a little wrong. The Americans did not "change the name" of football to soccer - the English have been calling the sport soccer since it's earliest inception. Look it up and get your information straight before you run off on a tangent that is factually wrong.

I mean, I prefer the name football as well, and it's obviously the most common name for the sport throughout the world, but I'm getting sick and tired of the English saying that only Americans call it that. We're not the only fucking country that calls it soccer, just the biggest.

First of all, you guys are all wrong. It's no called football or soccer, (at least in my country) it's called futbol, you can called how you want though :P. I'm from Argentina so "soccer" it our passion. Just pointing my opinion out lol.
