OMG!! i just watched this show for the first time tonight and am so pist off! i always wanted to live in Alaska because it is so beautiful,wild, and i thought peaceful. but i see fucken losers are everywhere...

sorry i upset you but when people can't even walk down the street or drive to the store with out the possibility of dying or being attacked, it pissies me off..you can't leave your door unlocked because some loser might come in and help himself to your hard earned belongings, it upsets me. Uh... ironically I live in the city this episode this was filmed. Crime? A youth getting drunk and riding an ATV is about average. Armed robbery? Carjacking? No. The police here don't have much to do except go after drunks and other minor crime. I don't lock my door. Don't let the dramatic presentation fool you. Cars don't get stolen because there is only one road off the peninsula and it's 100 miles on that road to the nearest city.

they, acually make it more dramitic then it acualy is, and just because, it pretty much pisses me off.........ur also forgetting that just about every one in alaska is armed.......dont believe the bull shit the tv shows, our biggest crime up here is drug possesion.

@Hendricks1991 I live in the Valley and it's amazing how they overrate the stuff they do. Like the bear baiting one..... guy goes out in April and makes it sound like there are bears out and about everywhere.....

@angel2rx i lived in the kenai peninsula for 13 years i was born there now we have a summer home their. it really isnt that bad. i mean yah if your a girl dont walk alone at night but that pretty much applies to anywhere you live and also locking your doors you should do anywhere so yeah. haha.
