  • "This jungle's full of jokers!" xD

  • Go ahead. Ask him?

Do you really think I should Bert?

    AFTER ALL THIS TIME?!

    LOL!!!

  • ahhh...childhood memories....this was always one of my favorite clips

  • @jejouelaflute Me too. :)

  • @CelesteK yup, this one and the yup yup aliens with the telephone...oh and little tiny super guy (the cup with the little man on it..) Funny what we remember

  • @jejouelaflute You mean Tiny Little Super Guy?

  • @CelesteK yup that's the one

  • @jejouelaflute Yeah I used love Tiny Little Superguy. :)

  • Anyone know who played the cab driver with the Brooklyn accent?

  • It's hard to believe that after all this time of Ernie dragging Bert through the jungle for hundreds of miles, Bert DIDN'T fly off the handle at Ernie's "important" question for Dr. Livingston.

  • A true classic..watching this clip took me back to when i was 5.. wow!!!!!! i just felt like was living in that moment for 4:05 min lol...

  • Tem coisa mais legal de ver do que Ernie ou Bert felizes?

  • "Bert,I am so happy y y y y!!!!!"

  • Thanks for posting that video in English! I was worried, thinking it had not...

  • Id say this is as classic SS as you can get. Incredible written sketch with Jim and Frank's muppets yelling back and forth, then hugging and at the end happy and laughiing. sketches like this are what make ss memorable!

  • This skit contains some my favourite lines from Sesame street:

"i tell ya, it's a jungle out here"

"After all this time?!!" (I still say this to my sister if she takes forever to make a decision then changes her mind at the last minute.)

    "This jungle's full of jokers!"

    Thanks for posting it.

  • At least this makes a lot more sense than the german version!

  • This clip makes me giggle every time especially at the end. Thanks for uploading whoever the auther of this video is. I love this video :)

  • @jackwolf131 sorry I spelled Author wrong, I was giggling too hard =)

  • I've never heard of mainstream media being referenced by sesame street characters before, Bugs Bunny, WHATS UP DOC!!!!!!! Hilari-ass@!

  • Bert and Ernie remind me of Timon and Pumba.

  • "A fire engine in the jungle?"?

    LMAO!!

  • Sure, why not? You never know when a brush fire may turn up. ;-)

  • @CelesteK Why not? Fires do happen in the jungle.

  • This is a silly jungle i'm going home XD

  • am i the only who was half expecting bert to beat the crud out of ernie? (come on, hundreds of miles just for one lousy JOKE?)

  • @Wheeloffortunefan999 heck it would have been HELLA funny if Bert & the doctor each took turns beating the crap out of Ernie

  • Yes, that was strange for Ernie and Bert to walk for hours in the jungle just so that Ernie could say a Bugs Bunny joke to Dr. Livingstone. However, I guess Ernie needed to say it in person because, there probably was no telephone in the jungle (of course, there were no cell phones back then and there was no email back then either). (I'm sure once Ernie, Bert, the fireman, and the taxi driver finished laughing, Ernie and Bert turned back around to walk home for another hundred miles).

  • "OH BERT I'M SO HAPPY-Y-Y-Y!" LOL!

  • "You talkin' to me?"

Hmm. Why do I get the feeling Taxi Driver McGillicuddy should have said that instead of Firefighter Jackson?

  • I love it. I haven't seen it in a while. "What's up, doc?" 3:44

  • 2:42 cute!!!!!!

  • Ernie and Bart are always good for a laugh

  • What a funny "What's up, doc?" joke said by Ernie, Bert and the others!

  • What a nice hug Ernie shared with Bert at 3:25-3:30, due to the fact that they found Dr. Livingston after walking hundreds of miles and being tired and hungry!

  • The sketch's footage at 2:19-2:24 is seen on Bert & Ernie's Music Video "Things That I Remember".

  • I swated a mosquito on my dad's leg when I was fishing as of getting it off him for which I do that quite often when mosquitoes are seen on my friends and realitives skin or wherever.

  • good to know.

  • Thanks, man.

  • Thanks for reposting this.

  • I forget how much I love Bert, he's just such a dry sense of humor, and things just never seem to go his way.

  • This is the last of the Bert and Ernies that I remember that i've wished to see again! Horaaaaay!

  • -LOL-

  • Dr. Livingstone, I presume,

Stepping out of the jungle gloom,

    Into the midday sun.

    What did you find there,

Did you stand a while and stare,

    Did you meet anyone?

    I've seen butterflies galore,

I've seen people big and small,

I've still not found what I'm looking for.

    We're all looking for someone.

  • finally! i thought this had been removed

  • Hold still Wheeloffortunefan999 *swats insect* mosquito.

  • LOLOL!

  • thank you.

  • hahaha

    "im so happy-y-y-y!"

  • wow i cant believe bert actually laughed at the end. that was gr8

  • You tell that leaf,Bert!

  • what leaf are you talking about?

  • The leaf at 2:11,after the cab driver. He's sighing at Ernie, runs into the leaf, and says,"I don't beleive this-will you get out of the way, leaf?"

  • i saw that comment b4 i had watched the video actually, but i got it like 2 minutes afterwards.

  • Ah,ok. No prob. = )

  • meaning the joke.

  • omg i loved this as a kid! totally forgot about it! this is great! :)

  • couldn't they have been sued for mentioning bugs bunny?

  • Hell yeah! The entire "Dr. Livingston, I presume" thing is one big adult-oriented joke. (Of course, I only get it because of my college history professor...)

  • Marty Robinson does the firefighter and Brian Muehl does the cab driver.

  • I always enjoyed this.

  • Another classic! Viva You Tube!

  • Always loved this one as a kid. Thanks!

  • doktor lokman hehehehe :D

  • I know the idea of this sketch was taken from something, but what? Great clip!

  • hahaha "Oooh Bert! Im so happy eee eee eee eee!"

  • Jerry Nelson does a great voice for Dr. Livingston.

  • "I don't believe this! Will you get out of the way, leaf?"

  • Sorry for the bad quality with the logo blur.

Maybe sometime in the future someone could download the clips and fix them.

At least now It wont be removed due to the logo issues.
