i personally have no problem with it being a hybrid...just as long as they give you a "sport" mode that enables you to switch off the electric motor, and only use the powerful v8 that i'm sure is in there!
they should make the stingray like another thing you can buy like Z06, GS, or a zr1 like make it like that except bigger motor then the GS and the body like the c3's.

However, technology is making it easier to have and eat your proverbial cake, which is a very good thing. The Porsche 918 is a perfect example. It takes a badass car to kick ass on the street and track. But truly exceptional cars can do that efficiently. I see no reason why the Vette shouldn't be among them.

@heartboy86 As a vette owner I'm pleased with the car but being objective there was room for improvement & It's nice to see that GM addressed most of the issues over the years however the interior has been the most criticized & I can see why. The ZR1 was promised to address this but honestly I'm disappointed with what they came up with. I have seen leathered out Hyundai tiburons with nicer interiors so it's not even a matter of price but rather a matter of taste.

@heartboy86 I'm not saying it's not nice or knocking the Cadillac much. Hell, I'm seriously considering a CTC V myself but I would like to see GM step it up more on all their cars. I'm not a GM hater. I own a corvette. But seriously, the ZR1's seats and steering wheel make me want to puke to death. they really fucked up there. The 94 to 96 corvettes interior looked much nicer. Even if the carpeting was shit at least the seats looked nice.

@heartboy86 Dude, I know all of this. I can teach you more about the corvette than almost anybody you know. I'm just making the point that they need to step up the interior. the interior in this vette is absolutely bad ass (computer seems a little slow tho) and I want it. I don't want a Porsche or a BMW. But the simple truth is people will keep making fun of the corvette until they fix that shit.

@bronxboyXXX i understand that but when it boils down to it,it was made simply for performance and you can get a ltz version in a vette,yes it will cost more but a fully loaded 2ltz will cost you no more than 150,000 that's still considerely cheaper than most of its competition,but lets be honest,how many 2ltz vette will they sale,not many becuase many people buy it for its performance,they can laugh and talk shit all they want,it's their job to if they hate vettes

@heartboy86 As a vette owner I'm pleased with the car but being objective there was room for improvement & It's nice to see that GM addressed most of the issues over the years however the interior has been the most criticized & I can see why. The ZR1 was promised to address this but honestly I'm disappointed with what they came up with. I have seen leathered out Hyundai tiburons with nicer interiors so it's not even a matter of price but rather a matter of taste.

@planetcheck HA! GM isn't that stupid, the Corvette is America's sports car, and it's everything America's got for competing with foreign exotics. It's a bang for your buck, and it's nearly bullet proof in every aspect. Maybewhat you're thinking is that the C6s will end in 2011, so then the C7s will come out, and may possibly look like the Stingray here. (Although I kinda like the traditional look) The Dodge Viper is said to not return after 2011, but as for the Corvette...Give me a break, man.

And if it were true, they would scrap the Camaro, just like they did in '02. They know what they'd get their self into by scrapping the 'Vette. That Ford Mustang is a piece of shit, it was never the king of the road, and it never will be. A friggin GS Corvette rapes the Shelby GT500, and then you upgrade to the ZR1, now thats King Of The Road.
