And what is so good about it? Those tabs are copied from chrome. x times better than Internet Explorer? Who cares? Who the hell uses it anyway? I bet that there will be an addon for FF making identical effect of 3D tabs so i will stay on FF3.11 anyway

Safari 4 is faster than Chrome, which is much faster than any Firefox. I still use Firefox for it's add-ons though.

Perfect! Now I can pretty much use Google Chrome on my Mac :P

The tabs and multiple processes per tab is a great thing that Chrome created and since Google is a wonderful company, they made their browser open-source, hoping other browsers would take ideas and give others. I LOVE open source ideas :)

Nitro engine sounds AMAZING. I will be VERY pleased with it when it gets done downloading :P

Anyway, Safari4 sounds like a PERFECT browser and people have NO reason to use Firefox instead now lol.

also, I see you are using ScreenFlow. PERFECT app for screen recording on the Mac, runs amazingly smoothly even on my G4!

The only reason to use Firefox is for add-ons. But Safari makes up for that with cover flow views, top sites and a much faster engine. The public beta is still faster than any nightly build of Firefox Beta 3.

ScreenFlow rocks of course. I just updated to 1.5.1 and I'm dying to test out the new features and bug fixes.

Well since Google Chrome is open source, people can take whatever they want from it and help develop any features they want for it. Unfortunately, it is Intel only for Macs and I am a PowerPC fan. Snow Leopard is Intel only, so Leopard is the last OS I'll be able to run unless I get an Intel.

PPC is dead whether you like it or not. At least, in the consumer world it's dead. PPC is still being used globally by IBM for supercomputers and such.

I know, I just can't seem to let go. It still has so much potential... oh well. I'll try to keep mine as my primary computers until 10.7 rolls around. Then I might give in and get a MacBook with 7 hours of battery (Or more by then lol) and that will be an UPGRADE compared to my PC's barely 1 hour battery... fail :)

Even my PowerBook with a faulty battery and power adapter beats the crap out of it! I get 3 hours until 50% then it craps out to 5%... but it beats the PC lol

the Nitro engine is definitely not. I don't recall Chrome having cover flow view either. I agree that some stuff is similar to Chrome, but not every browser is original.
