I live where it only snows 1 or 2 days out of each year (only been here 2 years) and I let my black Chow out to potty, and he wouldn't even leave the porch when he saw the snow !! He was like "Mom, what did you do to the yard ??" LOL

they come from areas in china, near Tibet where it's cold? not sure. they have fluffy double fur coats so they stay warm in freezing weather. Our chows like to sun bathe in snow banks

thats because they ahve really thick fur and hair epecially around their neck witch might make them feel a warm so when it snows they love it!

Yes, when it rains, they want a car ride instead of a walk and will try to steer me to the car when I take them for a walk in the rain.

This girl loves snow so much, she'll nap on it, if I let her. She hugs the snow.

Mine is a picky one. He'll play in the snow and everything. If it rains he'll still want a walk, but refuses to walk thru a puddle or on wet grass; he'll jump over it.... lol.. he looks like he's trying out for the olympics when he does it.
