  • Fucking hate when people go stupid slow, regardless of board or skiis, and fucking zig zag back and forth across the entire trail.

  • this one is not even close. Skier's fault all the way.

  • i love how he just left without helping them... sarcasm!!!!

  • Picture the same situation on a highway ur staying in ur lane and some deushe bag cuts u off causing an accident. Stupid skiers use pie stops!!!!!

  • it happened to me twice last week!! people who are not able to ski shouldn´t be in the steep slopes at all!!

  • actually the boarder hit the skier but the skier was a douche for going across like that. im a skier but these 2 skiers make us look bad. fuckin homos

  • the texas tuck really adds to the skiers style

  • Actually, the boarder it the skier idiot. Boarders, go learn a real sport.

  • @mr4anarchy ok imma guess your a skier, i am a snowboarder and i dont hate on trick skiers i actually respect them, i will agree with you the snowboarder hit the skier, but snowboarding is a real sport so you can go fuck yourself

  • Skiers, learn to not hog the entire trail and cut people off 24/7. KTHANXBIA

  • All I see is a snowboarder not moving side to side, and then a random skier flying across him and making him fall. Am I missing something here? Why is it the snowboarders fault?

  • that skiers got style lol

  • If you understand ANYTHING about the mountain rules you know that YOU have to mind what's in front of you and on your sides! If you are a beginner, take a class!!! It usually comes with ski and etiquete 101. One more thing, when you are at the end of the run, slow down!!!

  • Nyao

  • that is the boader's fault i am so sick of boader's saying the skiers cut them off 99% of the time it is the boader's

  • @mrlaxandski i will agree with you but we only say skiers cut us off because 99% of the time its the fuckin retarded little kid skiers that are not meant to be on the park and they just ride around all the objects

  • Jayeeyee maybe you should reread what I wrote. Instead of "disagreeing" you actually just repeated my point. Boarder was the uphill person. By the book, he's at fault. Doesn't mean that the skier was in the right either but whatever. Slopes were full of people doing shat like this today. Staring at a split board online right now wondering if it's worth it... Maybe

  • If you look the ski guy just kinda glides across the screen and hits him(0:29)this isnt a car...

    LOOK BOTH DAM WAYS

  • I beg to differ. Totally the boarders fault this time. He wasn't paying attention ahead of him when he was dipping his body down. His peripheral vision was reduced at that angle. Rules of conduct on every mountain states stay in control and be aware of your surroundings. People in front of you have the right of way and it is your responsibility to avoid them.

  • Uphill person is responsible in the event of a crash. So, technically, this dumb ass on ski's wasn't at fault. I never understood the feud between boarders and skiers. I'm a boarder, ride with a lot of skiers, and get pissed at every idiot I come across on the mountain regardless of what's strapped to his feet. Inconsiderate is inconsiderate, and being an asshole is being an asshole, no matter what group you pigeon hole yourself into. With the exception of telemark skiers. Everyone hates those

  • @cupofhotjoe Theres idiots on both sides of the fence. ( im a snowboarder ). Youve got asshole skiers and ski instructors, and youve got dum fuck noobies who are too stingy to get a fuckign lesson and LEARN how to board. So sick of both. Asshole Skiers and fuckwit wannabe snowboarders who cant even afford or be assed to get a lesson and clog up the center of the runs.

  • @cupofhotjoe Actually it was the skiers fault because in the Alpine Responsibility Code that 95% of all resorts worldwide use it says "When merging into a trail, always look back uphill and yield to others." but the skier didn't do that he just carelessly cut off the boarder and turned into him.

  • @cupofhotjoe You're right! but the snowboarder could not react before the skier turned into him. "When you turn, use your fucking eyes" that's what i say, no matter if the skier is in front, or behind!

  • ..."Im soo happy i got that".... hahaha

  • I'm biased because I snowboard but this is pretty clearly the skier's fault. Swings in right in front to cut off the snowboarder.

  • The skier was not merging from another trail. He was trying to do to the snowboarder as the snowboarder did to another skier moments before.

  • Obviously 2 slopes merged, the skier cut right across from the left hand slope.

If you going to try stuff like this you glance over your shoulder, right of way or not it always pays to check.

  • feckin skiers !! deffos skiers fault there !!! go and cheese wedge yah way down some other slope !!

  • That's the first of many. Us skiers passed around an email about all the dipshit boarders taking everyone out and then riding off like it wasn't them. This is the beginning of payback. You might want to take up bicycling or something.

  • im a boarder but i would just like to point out he did the same thing at 0:23 lol so everyone is guilty of cutting in

  • i fucking hate skiers

  • @patchee1000 haha right

  • R.I.P headphones users .

  • @ivCARLOL What's a baord?

  • Fuck Skiers.

  • tucking in like a retard

  • does anybody look when crossing over on this hill!?

  • there go my speakers

  • skieers are dumb idiots who are always in front of me with their wide turns STARTING TO PISS ME OFF SO GET A BAORD AND GO OUT MY WAY

  • im soo happy i got thatt

  • I really hate when skiers are going really slow and you try to overtake them and they suddenly turn into you with their extremely broad S-turns

  • @AbtinSoltani

actually snowboarders ride very slow in last time...i was in Italy(Livigno) week ago and we train our GS(gaint slalom) on one course. This guys trying to slow down us every time when we going down from the mountain...awesome. But i also love snowboard... i tryed to snowboard first time in my life right there,in Italy..awesome.BUT i prefer to do it on blue tracks, not even on black, like this guys love to do.

  • @784563 I'm not going to say you're wrong because I've never been to Italy and I don't know what it's like but all I can tell you is that it's mainly the skiers that are slower in Canada/USA. Oh ya and blue is really easy so the I bet most of the snowboarders there were beginners so you can't really judge on the blues only you gotta find the overall average.

  • @AbtinSoltani

I mean, that i snowboard on the blue tracks for a first time becouse i don't want to interfere someone. But this guys can't even move their asses, and they choose black tracks, thats why im mad about this :\

  • @784563 This isn't anywhere near black, it's green max blue

  • @AbtinSoltani yes.. exactly I feel your pain

  • i hate snowboard ski wars, here in belgium almost every snowboarder can ski.. i like them both: ski and snowboard

  • I hate skier's, thats how i broke my arm snowboarding. just like this except in a different scenario I was cut off by a skier coming out of a different run and ran into me when I was racing down the slope and caused me to flip end over end and when i stopped my arm was snapped

  • Technically that is the Snow Boarders fault as he is "higher" up the slope.

  • @ThanatoselNyx the ski guy cut him off

  • 0:28 !

  • listen i dont know why there is so much hate between skiers and boarders... just follow the rule, always watch in front of you... the one in front has no idea ur behind him...

  • i would have gotten up and kicked the shit out of that skier

  • HHAAAHAHHAAAAAA!!!!

  • The skier is down hill of the snowboarder, the skier has right of way, the boarder had ample time to get well out of the way. I'm a skier, have been for over 30 years and I have seen bad skiers & bad boarders. Let's all try to ski & board safely and ALL enjoy the mountain. I do agree though that boarders tend to sit across slopes a LOT more than skiers, very frustrating & dangerous! Happy skidding in 2012.

  • that was the boarders fault the skier cant see behind him

  • the snowboarder hit the skier

  • id say their equally at fault, its not like the boarder creeped up on the skier, the skier came up on the boarder right @ :24 then cut across the trail, mind you the boarder could have easily gotten out of the way, i mean honestly, when your driving and someone cuts into your lane do you let them hit you or do you get the fuck out of the way?

  • Skip to 0:25 to actually see the point of the video...

  • the person in front always has right of way. It is not the skiers responsibility to look behind him before he turns.

  • @charpsteve36 yes it is

  • The title should be the other way round!!

  • @TheKjhouse Not nesesery ...

as you can see skiier hit the snowboarder but it was snowboarder's fault :D

  • Lovin that pole twirling in the beginning! lmao was he tryin to show off by doin that?

  • genreal rule is though, you give way to those below you, no matter how in the wrong they may be! Rant over.

  • I do both , agree with comments about boarders sitting in the middle of the pistes, generally just below a lip or roller so no one can see them, very dangerous - problem is that skiers dont realise the boarders have a blind spot, no matter how careful you are being, if you are looking down the hill, you will always have a blind side, no matter what you do. That said, what pisses me off about skiers is those who dont keep regular turns, so you cant work out when then will turn next!

  • lol how that can happen..

  • technically that was the boarders fault as the skiier was riding slower and the slower rider has the right of way

  • good job skier, wreck those snowboarders

  • im soooohhh happehhh i filmmmedhhh thaaahhhht

  • i dont know who was wrong, but i think the snowboarder was wrong since he was behind on the moment the accident happened. but that was a stupid action from the skier ye..

  • LOL

  • shitty skier and shitty boarder.. the blame is the lack of skill from both, you can blames it on skiers or boarders people grow up

  • Ha ha. They only collided because the skier wanted a shot in front of the lens!

  • boarder takes out skier, but boarder didn't have space to manuver out the way. crashes happen sometimes on the slopes being no one's fault.

  • Skiers r ignorant fucks

  • Reckless and incompetent SNOWBOARDER HIT THE SKIER

And what is so happy about that? Apart from you looking and sound like a selfish and arrogant idiot. Learn how to snowboard first. There is nothing happy about this kind of accidents for neither skier or a snowboarder. Grow up!

  • LMAO....now I am a skier. I don't really like snowboarders b/c they don't watch where they're going and almost ALWAYS get in my way at the last second...however, this time, it was totally the skiier's fault. So take that boarders....a taste of your own medicine! P.s. Don't be stupid and sit in groups in the MIDDLE of the trails boarders!

  • @TMatic08 On the contrary skiers do that. And I've been hit by skiers, and never have been by snowboarders. And no, I am not a bad snowboarder/skier.

  • @TMatic08 That's funny it's usually skiers who don't look and get in my way at the last second. But I will agree that too many snowboarders like to sit around right in the middle for no fucking reason.

  • @TMatic08 It's like saying evrybody from USA is fat... Most snowboarders look where they going...

  • @TMatic08 Soooooo you lock cock?

  • @TMatic08 im a boarder, and i always watch out for everyone. i have seen so many dumbass skiers its not even funny. get on a board for a real challenge, not this pussy skiing shit.

  • @TMatic08 We don't watch where we are going when it's always the skiers swerving back and forth across every trail on the mountain, creating so many damn moguls.... You silly skier!

  • @TMatic08 I'm a snowboarder and skiers do get in the way too, like beginners attempting double black diamonds snowplowing their way down does slow everyone else down.

But ya lol I do have to admit that those snowboarders that sit in groups in the middle of runs do get extremely annoying but I mean like there's nothing you can do about it.

  • @TMatic08 are you serious dude....skiers are so unpredictable you go straight turn 90 degrees and then go straight and turn 90 degrees. btw the only reason why we sit is cause we can...dont see any skiers laying sideways on the hills

  • @TMatic08 yeah idk about u but where i snowboard its the skiiers who stand in the middle of the mountain with their kids

  • @poland279 i agree with a lot

  • @TMatic08 Snowboarder was behind, therefor its the snowboarders fault this time to.

Totaly agree with you. Not even kids are safe! When I was 10 or so and still learning skis a boarder crashed in to me from behind. I fell, he didnt. And then he had the nerv to shout "HEY! Wach where your going!", HOW THE HELL WAS I SUPOSED TO DO THAT? HE CAME FROM BEHIND AT DOUBLE MY SPEED!!!

You just dont forget dickheads like that. (but its hapened with skiers to, im just against the morons)

  • @TMatic08 i snowboard and i agree with u...

  • @TMatic08 there are assholes to either sport....boarders don't create specific disruptions, neither do skiers. it's about the person and their awareness. i've had skiers stop in the middle of runs, i've had skiers cut me off and run into me, it's not rider specific. also the person behind another rider is supposed to respect their line, so either distance yourself or take another line.

  • @TMatic08 hey! dont slop all snowboarders into the douchebag pit. i have been cut off more by skiers than snowboarders in my many years of snow sports

  • @TMatic08 Haha, I'm a snowboarder and I understand where you're coming from but I always watch out where I'm going and I've be cut off from skiers way more than snowboarders... People just need to be aware of their surroundings.

  • @TMatic08 skiers do that shit all the time

  • @TMatic08 go suk a dik u skiier

  • he ate it

  • soooooooooo the skiers fault

  • snowboarder takes out skiier more like:D

  • The boarder takes the skiier out from behind.

  • SASS

  • that case its the snowboarders fault. but every time i snowboard theres always annoying ass skiers zigzagging in my way so fckking annnoying

  • @T810G

then get off the green/bunny slope and go to where there is less people and more space....

  • @1Bullet2Ki11s no u

  • They are both at fault because they are clueless about what is going on around them. Most collisions are a result of a lack of awareness of surroundings, both terrain and other people and a lack of awareness about personal skill. Neither looked around, both were totally into themselves. I would give the boarder the benefit of the doubt because he was holding his course. The skier was the one who changed direction. Boarders and skiers get a clue so we can all like each other.

  • gapergapergaper

  • same thing happened to me this weekend up on Boyne Mnt. stupid dick poles

  • @allmostevil665 bigotry. Fuck pricks like you

  • here in vermont / the east we let the people ahead have the right of way. so the people behind have to avoid anyone in front no matter what!!!!!! SKI THE EAST

  • aha the skier had the french retard tuck as well xD

  • and they both drifted into each other actually.

  • oh no, gaper tuck.

  • that skier clearly went right into the snowboarders path.

  • skier was trying to do back-flip,no he was marking his territory

  • the person downhill always has the right of way. even though they were both stupid it was still the snowboarders fault.

  • @ilikepieandsking exactly, the snowboarder was in front of the skier for almost the whole clip. The skier was in front for less than a second when he drifted into the snowboarder. Clearly the skiers fault.

  • Priceless

  • skiiers smh

  • OH HELL NO THE SKIER CUT OFF THE BOARDER

  • looks more like the snowboarder hit the skier ..

  • The boarder was coming from behind, meaning he is the one who should hold back. Not much to say, that's basic resort-etiquette. AND I say this as a person who has been skiing AND snowboarding almost my entire life, so I'm not taking sides here! Surely the skier should have looked where he was going, but seeing as to how the boarder was approaching from behind the responsibility would lie with him, had one or the other been injured.

At least, that's how insurance companies operate in Europe ;)

  • Gotta love those skiers that cut EVERYBODY oFF!!!!

  • @LANDIN4DEWIN at 0:23 could you tell me what happens? im pretty sure thats the snowboarder cutting off the skier

  • @ilikepieandsking The snowboarder was not at fault. He was originally in front of the skier, the skier went out of his way to get in front than accidentally cut him off.

  • both idiots... but what was the skier doing... actually...

  • figures a skier would cause this....to all boarders just push em and say MOVE BEOTCH GET OUT THE WAY

  • HAHA. Both are full on gapers

  • a snowboarder hit me when i was trying to avoid him -.-

  • the snowboarder ran into the skier. im a snowboarder and i hate skiers but obviousl the snowboarder should have fucken dodged the guy and the skier didnt know he was there soo yeah.

  • @liameatsp8nt are you kiddin that dumb ass skier cut right in front of the snowboarder would have to be blind not to see that

  • classic example

  • I'm so happy you've got that too. That's just hilarious! Two n00bs in perfect orchestration, it's like ballet.

  • i hate when skiers try and cut me off lol!

  • that skier was in the fucking power stance!

  • I would fucking knock him out fucking skiers

  • Nah man. Its just a resort filled with stupid people.

  • They're both idiots, we'll leave it at that...

  • This is why I heli-ski,....then I don't have to put up with rude wannabe amateur boarders or skiers who think they own the mountain.....

  • lolz

  • That......was funny :)

  • Technically its the snowboarders fault because they were uphill from the skier then the crash happened.

  • @FlyHighSki Finally, someone who understands the rules. Enough time on youtube. I'm going skiing. =D

  • not to mention the fact that the boarder did to the girl in the grey exactly what the skier did to him, so they're both at wrong

  • considering the snowboarder was behind, I fail to see how its the skiers fault, and this is coming from a boarder. They both failed to use their peripheral vision in this case

  • Whoever is behind is 100% responsible, cutting of or not........a massive snowboard fail indeed. get some lessons bro!

  • firstly, that first skier needs to learn how to ski properly. None of that ridiculous (and dangerous) pole flicking. What a punter!

But otherwise, both were at fault. It's not like the snowboarder had his back to him and couldn't see him coming. And when you cross a hill, always look up (and you're not going to go much faster with that poor tuck, skier may as well stay upright)

  • i think its both peoples faults cause they werent aware what was going on around them

  • Fuck skiers

  • look at the skiers face, its just begging to be on camera.

  • what a cunt

  • haha yay skiier .. one less boarder

  • HHAHAHA

  • Totally the skiers fault. I've been boarding for over 6 years and im only ever cut up by skiers. They are rude, stop in groups in the middle of the slope in the blind spot chatting. They always ski over my board in queues which is not only rude but it does my head in as my board is probably worth 3 times what their crappy ski's are (probably rentals!). I'm a courteous, considerate and careful boarder and have never wiped anyone else out boarder or skier.

  • homo skiers fault! they never stay in their lines...they think they own the mountain.. i ride with skiers..there pretty chill but tht fag compleatly cut off the rider....he didnt have time to respond

  • Snowboards constitute a larger percentage of douchebags on the slope.

  • @guitarhamster102 ur a douche

  • Both kooks. Skier was coming across but not that fast, boarder could have turned to avoid if he was paying attention instead of trying to look good for the camera, which he also failed at.

  • @Mattskis36 true that! hahaha!

  • @Mattskis36 doesn't matter right of way goes to the boarder, he was originally in front of the skier. The skier cut him off

  • to the boarder: try to use your legs more, pro snowboarders do everything by their legs. You are constantly pushing your upper body in weird positions and your arm goes all over the place. You can't do that at high speeds so stop doing that

I did that too but when I payed attention to it I improved a lot!

  • @TheBaconheart hahahaha who punches someone in the neck? I'll make sure not to ride over your picnic table! All of that comment sound like bull anyway

  • @barnsey1069 You've never punched someone in the neck? Think about it, have you ever had anything hit you in the neck/throat? I used to punch people in the nose but the blood goes eveywhere. If I punched you in the neck you would go down buddy, It hurts and if you hit right at the throat (which I don't do because it could kill) you would know it. Live and learn. Learn from me because I am an original badass.

  • @TheBaconheart i know it hurts but nobody ever punches people in the neck in a fight, you're the biggest bullshitter ever hahaha

  • Up hill person always bears responsibility

  • Oh well, one less snowboarder on the slopes!! Shame about the crap skiing technique though!!

  • I'd say they are both idiots, but if you want to give fault, then it is the snowboarders. He came, going faster than the skier from behind and clipped the back of the skiers skis. The uphill person always has duty of care. If the snowboarder had actually been looking where he was going, then this would probably not have happened, especially since the skier was coming in on the snowboarders "vision side". At the same the skier was being an idiot and doing a gaper's streamline.

  • @xort3d hey fuckin dumbass, the skiier cut him off, all skiiers cut people off, thats just one of the reasons no one likes skiiers.

  • It was both their faults, they were both completely oblivious to what was happening around them :S

  • Internet tough guys

  • a "10" on the faceplant. Yeah, technically, it was the skier's fault, but snowboarder wasn't paying enough attention in the crowded area...and he was getting too close to the skiers.

  • Skier's fault

  • the skier cut off the snow boarder the tip of his right ski got under his board and they both fell so its the skiers fault

  • Snowboarder fucked up as they usually do. So lame and so entitled think that they can just get up behind and not figure that they are going to get hit.

  • @TheBaconheart clearly youre fuckin noob skier
