Seriously though. This song strikes my soul and echoes my heart and how I view my life and how I stumble along this road as I try to live my life for our God.
I agree, it's a lovely song... full of hope, no matter we've done wrong we CAN "go home". Regardless if we've done the same as the son in the parable or not, the point of Jesus telling the parables was not to point fingers but to teach a lesson. As the Bible says, "we're all sinners", and I've found through the years that as God has helped me past one sin, the sins that I saw as "lesser" in the past are that much bigger now. Wonderful reminder to me.

Don Franciscos' music touched me so deeply when i was a young soldier far from home in germany back in the 80's. Thank You for the good,blessed memories. May God continue to use Don to reach out to others.

my personal favorite since the late '80s.. although the unplugged studio recording was much better... this song is so aptly meaningful.. thanks!
