Nice photos. good vid , Hannah was the best I think she has very good expression , its all about expression.. Maybe get other objects into your photos , Im into expressionism at the moment and its really interesting to see. More importantly STAY AWAY from Photoshop etc. Your photos should be good enough ,Ive stopped using it and its very rewarding , if youve got a good camera ,a good eye and a good imagination thats all you need. Beautiful pictures. I would love a professional camera but you are right it is about the light and the subject + editing. (yes I use Picnik too and CS2) I have used some pretty crap cameras and iPod's and gotten grat images.

You have a real talent and I would LOVE to see some more pictures.

These are really good!

I currently use a Canon Rebel XS and was wondering how you get such good pictures from using a good camera like that, but its not one of the really professional ones, like the 7D. I guess mine is the equivalent to the Nikon D200 from when you took these.

So any tips? would be nice. Thanks! :)

@DearPaxton It's really not about your camera, it's your eye. People ask me this all the time, and I always say that it doesn't matter if you have a good camera or not, all you need is a trustworthy DSLR, the right lighting, the right subject, and a good editing system. I used Picnik for the longest time to edit these photos, and I hardly knew all the right buttons and knobs on my camera; and now I use photoshop cs2, a nice camera and I know how to use it. Good luck! (:

@DearPaxton A lens matters a lot too. I use a T1i, which is another basic DSLR but it works well with the right sort of lens. It's your eye, it's the editing tools you use, your camera body, and your lens. Experience, practice, trying to improve will help you get better. :)

You have done very well! The compsition in many of your photos is fantastic and you have taken full advantage of the natural lighting of your models to bring out there best features.
