Damn, when I played this earlier, I didn't have subtitles on, and I swear Snow told Lightning that she was "sodding around" not "shutting her out".

Well, bummer. And I seem to be the only person in the world who finds Hope believable and adorable, and completely can't stand Snow. Usually, everyone else seems to be taking it the other way around.

And I love Lightning when she gets bitchy. :3

Initially, there wasn't any reason to believe her. :P It was JUST after Serah and Snow left that Lightning found out a Pulse Fal'Cie was discovered. Hell, I would have thought she Serah was lying too, in Lightning place.

I know, I know, but seriously...

1.) Why would Serah lie to Lightning about being a L'Cie? I don't think Serah would be the kind of person to lie about something so serious.

2.) If the only reason for Serah to lie was so she could marry Snow, then why lie at all? Serah could've just said that she truly loved Snow, right?

3.) Lightning was pretty close-minded at the time and categorized L'Cie as evil and Snow as an idiot. I don't think she would've let herself believe THAT in the first place...

1) It's your trust in a person versus what you know (or think) is, if that made sense. It's hard to bargain and decide between the two, and news like that can be jarring and hard to register. Like being told someone close to you dies. When it happened to me, I couldn't register it at all at first, and I ACTUALLY thought they were lying or joking with me, strange as it is.

3) Pretty much. We all do stupid things you REALLY facepalm about later, and Lightning's thing was not listening to Serah.
