I'm sorry to hear about your mom. In the series, Caitlin's dad has just been diagnosed and is expected to live, but Caitlin is extremely afraid of losing him. So, even though her dad tries to reassure her that everything will be okay, she still begs God to not let him die.

Thanks! I use Magix Edit Pro 12 but I started out in Windows Movie Maker. On WMM, when you're done editing the movie, you go to File>Save Movie File>Save For Playback on my Computer. Then it saves into My Videos and that's where you upload it from

I have to say I think it's commendable of you to make a series so centered around faith (or the lack of it). And even if it does turn out to have a strong Christian slant, I don't think that's anything you should be apologetic for. You obviously identify deeply in Christ and there's nothing wrong with expressing that. From what I've seen in this trailer, I think you'll have no problems in portraying this particular subject matter without coming off like you're shoving it down anyone's throat.

Aww, thanks! The series isn't intended to be preachy or put anyone's beliefs down. Even though it's Christian based, there are characters with other faiths and in some cases none at all, and I can't wait to tell everyone's stories.

It's a window seat that I downloaded from thesimsresource as part of the Chez Moi bedroom set. I used Decorgal's pose hacks and an invisible recolor of the magisplay tray to place Caitlin on it. Stairs: I didn't make Brielle's house but there are tutorials on thesimsresource for building houses with stairwells like that. It's pretty easy :-)

But you still have to write the script and get all the characters and sets ready for every new episode. You've gotta change everyone's hair, makeup, and outfits. And for episode 5 I had to make 3 characters and furnish another house before I could start filming. Then, real life kicked in and made the past 3 weeks really busy and somewhat difficult & stressful. :-/

I just wanted to post a little heads-up for you guys: All the characters aren't Christians. There will be Bhuddist, Wiccan, agnostic, atheist, and possibly a Jewish character. The series is mostly about faith but there will be a high school setting, parties, friends, romance, and typical teenage stuff as well.

I know a guy whose mom was diagnosed with Cancer. He went from being a devote Christian(probably the most religious person I knew) to a complete douche bag. Now he swears, smokes, and doesn't care about anything or anyone anymore, especially God. Just keep in mind that not all people are going to turn to God when something like that hits their family. Though I wish they would a majority of them lose faith and stop believing :(

I know. That's a lot like Brielle's story. She's losing faith in the midst of a family tragedy and doesn't know where to turn. Not all the characters are religious so they won't all turn to God when something happens. Thanks for commenting!

All the characters in the series aren't Christians, and the series is not meant to throw anything at them or put down anyone's faith/beliefs. The characters are all going to be diverse, with different lifestyles, personalities, and beliefs.

That's the fact I seriously considered while planning the series. I decided that more people could relate to it if I showed a variety of beliefs and people. So yeah, there will be faith talks in it, but all the episodes won't center around faith. Most of the in-depth areas will (i.e. Caitlin & Brielle's struggles) but not all of it.
