people cannot rely on the hope that everyone is playing fair, when the system gives you every encouragement to step on whoever you can to get to the top. the US version of libertarianism is thinly veiled social darwinism.

even if we assume the impossible, that everyone will start on equal footing, this would not ensure fairness or democracy. once someone "lost", they would become the downtrodden with no recourse; they would be subject to the will of the "winners", who would still be competing and not willing to sacrifice greed for the good of another. the mindset and social norms engedered by such a sytem makes it utopian to think that deregulation would fix the problems.

deregulation is disasterous in a capitalist society, look at what laise faire (sp?) did to the system in the 20's. people were working, believing that if they worked hard they could be the next rockafellar. the result was huge profits by the market defauders and mass suffering as the markets imploded due to a lack of regulation. regulation is the only thing that can keep it on life support, before individualistic fraud implodes the entire system again.

there is no way ron paul can make the system "fair" without changing the underpinnings of captial concentration, and de-regulation under our current system will only lead to further concentration. the only way that this competition can be fair is if ron paul is planning to erase inheritance, redistribute capital, magically make everyone have the same business connections and education, it is impossible; this plan would only work in utopia.

i was talking about the deregulation of hedge funds, who have defrauded the market for their own benefit and caused the current instability with no SEC oversight; deregulation furthers the economic totalitarinism that ron paul is against. these newly deregulated pools of capital essentialy manipulate the market , making it impossible for fair competition; even if the same rules applied to mutual funds!

I agree with ron pauls ideas when he talks about the undue influence of the federal reserve (private banks, and corporate influence, but what does he propose to fix it? he wants to deregulate across the board, which would only embolden and empower the halliburton's, mobil/exxons, and dick cheneys of the world.

i associate it with totalitarianism because the basic structure is anti-democratic. it is based ownership of the economy in the hands of an elite, who then get praised for "giving" a livelihood to people in what is suppossed to be their country. what is the benefit of providing jobs, which would be increasingly low wage and with no benefits? people can own their capital and work for their own benefit, without a middle man owners/managers stealing from what their labor is creating.

ron paul is essentially rubber stamping this current system by saying that the setup is perfect and that all that is left is to allow things to go further and faster down the path they are already going. deregulation can only work once people are working for their own benefit. US libertarianism, and capitalism , is utopian in todays american society. pools of capital are strong enough to simply dominate any kind of resistance that a tax refund is going to provide the average person.

Just a note about the UFO siting. Based on his description it is exactly what my daughter and I saw out in the mojave a few years ago. It is a manned government stealth zeppillin ,shaped like a trangle. When it move over our place out in the desert what struck me was its slow speed I thought some sort of helicopter but there was no

As for the news cast - two things and its not boobies - first, Ann appeared out of focus with the sign behind her sharp. Switch it. Second use a second camera, as you are doing, but go to it with an edit, so she does not have to be seen on camera switching her focus to the second position. It looks low budget.

I think that a lot of the location footage of Dennis appears to come from volunteers. Try to keep Elizabeth in the shot and try for an angle to unifies the height difference. I am 100% behind Kucinich and his policies, however, everything about him and his campaign strikes me as a bit overly-cautious, over-thought, and disingenuous. Kucinich may be honest and good, but he comes across as un-genuine, and over-thinks how he will appear. Dennis, just be real, any message you have is really diluted when much of your thought-process is taken up by thoughts of your image, and when to smile etc. Just be real.

I know it's hard to navigate the minefield of do's and don't's, but the bottom line is, people in general are great BS detectors, they can tell when someone is being real vs rehearsed. Since the corporate media will not cover Dennis we must do all we can to spread his name. Everyone should have a bumper sticker on their car and the cars of all their friends and relatives. If you ask people you will be amazed at how many will allow you to put on a sticker.

Also get lawns signs on properties that have visibility and call talk shows. All of these cna be done with no money and can make a huge difference.
