  • How did you make that?

  • How did you make that I'll subscribe to any of your stuff to kno how to do make that

  • apik tiba'e nice....i like it

  • Plz give a tutorial

  • excellent work! your landing gear is really cute! it flies so well. from a first sight no one can imagine its made from foam. it will be just the type of plane for beginners. please make a tutorial on how to make this.

    Regards

    xxxxxxxxxxxx

  • omg how u do it

  • You can see a couple close up pictures of this model at the web site below. They should give you a better idea on how it was made. For some reason I cant type the URL out but you should be able to figure it out.

  • How did you make it?

  • This is a BIG airplane. I don't believe you would ever get enough power with dozens of calculator solarcells on the wing. I just weghed my model and it comes in at 16 ounces.

  • how much power would it still need if instead of batteries it had a few calculator solarcells on the wings?

  • Hi, John jolly good plane. Am in RC airplane.

The closes to the paper airplane I made is the Mugi Evo Coroplast running on a twin EDF (electric ducted fan) at 0.9m winspan.

They are not paper but hollow plastic materials.

  • make a trick paper airplane and pu an engine on that !

  • I have been into airplanes and other RC devices for some time now. When i came upon this video. And i thought to myself that guys got a good imagination. Would be very interested in making something like this in the future. Mabey consider making a tutorial of some kind.

  • You should make a totoral on how to make it

  • @smiles2390

Only if you have a CNC machine.

    Which I'm thinking you don't.

  • I want to know few things, Where did you get the small SErvos and stuff and how did you put the stearing? I wanna make one too

  • @Walkoparta

Steering is achieved through a comination of rudder, ailerons, and elevators in traditional planes. Servos for micro planes like this are traditionally hand-made.

  • Great!

Is this some kind of special kind of small servos and receiver or just ordinary?

  • I Used Standard mini servos and a Hitech 555 reciever. This is a big model with a 31.5 inch wingspan.

  • that's really cool, what size motor was used?

  • I originally flew the model on a GWS D gear box and a 3 cell 1500 mAh Lipo. I have now switched to a Align 400L Brushless outrunner motor that looks like an inrunner motor. I also switched from the motor thrust line being on the bottom of the motor stick to above the motor stick. Flies even better now.

  • Thanks alot for reply John! Oh, it is actually quite huge compared to what i thought--big enough to accomodate normal servos. I git confused by those japanese guys -they have quite a few videos on youtube, a whole series of ultralight 4 gr planes with some weird magnet-miniservos.

  • to long comments

  • were do u get the motor and ailerons and stuff.

  • I believe I mentioned when posting this video how the model was made. The entire model is made out of A large foam block that was CNC Hot Wired cut. There is a left and right half to the model that joins in the center. A center V-Shape filler piece is then glued in place. The only wood used was a hard wood motor stick going the entire lenght of the body and some 1/16" sheet balsa used used to attach velcro too so the battery had some place to go. The plane can turn both left and right.

  • \o/, dude hahaha, really cool, man! hahaha!

  • tellllllllllllllll meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • tellllllll me plz!!

  • oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    i no that

i noooo that i nooooooooooo thaaaat

    you trick everyone

    ..............................

  • tellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus

OK don't tell us tell meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • i think theres more u need than just knowing how 2 make it

  • Pleasssssssssse just tell us

  • tell me how to make 1 pleeeeeeeeeez

  • WHY DON'T ALL OF U GUYS JUST FIND OUT HOW TO MAKE ONE URE SELF!! it's suuch a simple design! U just glue or tape or however attach a motor on the front, connect it to a reciever and there u go. It turns one way only and all the time...

  • I think you should learn more about remote control planes before you start fliping out and saying its easy, and mabey if you learned to read you could figure out that it can go left and right which doesn't sound like a big difference but then you need a biger resever then you have to re-distribute the weight and so on its not an easy thing to do so unless you can build a better one shut your face

  • well, as a matter of fact I CAN build a better plane and am doing so right now.

I very well know how one is built and shure, the electronics might be a bit confusing at first for some and also the balancing of the weight, but due to my love to aviation I have a moderate understanding of how an airplane is built.

Also, what I was actually refering to in my other coment, was the DESIGN of the plane. U do have to agree with me, that this plane is way more simple and easy to build than a balsa one!

  • I don't beleave that you could build a plane that is better then that if you think you tape these planes together (and you aren't even sure of that!), espetialy the motor mount, however I was wrong it is a 3 chanel rc plane which makes you an idiot because in the video it clearly does a figure 8, which meens that it can go left and right, plus if you had read the coments instead of being an asshole as soon as you saw something you could make fun of you would know that

  • I wasn't exactly making fun of anything and if u look at the coments before mine, u can see that they were kind of asking for it...

anyway, u seem like ure way too proud to ease off even just a bit, so there's no reason in continuing this pointles discussion.

don't bother replying until u can control ure self and stop calling me an idiot.

  • all im trying to say is your fliping out about something that shouldn't be fliped out about, and incedentaly, you are an idiot

  • ok, so I'm an idot then. But one fact remains!

The rc plane I'm building (4 channel and made of balsa), IS way cooler than this one! ;)

  • no, it probably isn't, if it exists, which I doubt it does, now shut up and let everyone get on with ther life you stupid wannabe-posser

  • what is wrong with u?! Why so bitter? I admitted I'm an idiot and I just stated my point of view. And my plane dose exist. It's just not quite finished yet. And if u don't belive me, check out my channel in a month from now or so, and I will have posted a vid of it...

  • I planed on it, and I just checked it out an hour ago, and your not quite as stupid as I thought, because you know that your stupid

  • left and right rudder are on one channel. to qualify as a 3 ch plane, you also need elevator control.

  • so what if you see it

  • nice plane love to have one!

  • Very nice ! Smooth flying, amazing !

  • wow tell me the stuff i need to make it im the 23rd so thats alot tell us

  • Please read the commentsleft already. If there is enough interest I might be talked into making a kit of the airplane.

  • please

  • SERIOUSLY!! TELL PLZ REPLY

  • DUDE TELL ME HOW TO MAKE THIS!!!!!

  • tell me all the electronics i need to build it with motorise stuff- i just built a really good paper airplane!!!!

  • he couldnt of used a string!

  • you idiot you can see the prop on the front

  • hahas u just use a string

  • hahas u just use a string

  • wow it look so ..

    smood

  • thats awesome!!

  • cute

  • wow! woow!! wooow!!!

    very nice flying!!!

    how to put the alilerons...?

  • this is good cause its really hard to brake :D Good Wok

  • The plane uses any basic 3 or 4 channel radio with mini servos and receiver. I now use a 25Amp speed control and 400 size outrunner brushless motor. The plane started life with a simple GWS D gear box. The battery used is a 1500 mAh 3 cell Lipoly. The foam airframe was made by me. If you had to purchase everything contained in this airplane along with a battery charger you would be looking at something like $350.00.

  • this is crazy! can u tell me the general cost of a project like this?

  • can you send me some links on were u bought the elctronics plz

  • I use a 3-cell 1500 to 1800 mah Lipo on the plane. Control movement is by elevator and rudders. Any 4 channel radio can be used since there is NO mixing evolved.

  • What type of remote controll do you use?

  • What type of battery do you use to power this motor, and how many vaults?

  • nice super low budget RC plane!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!

  • WOW, very nice.

  • wow that flies really well. What kinda set up do you use to keep it in the air?

  • This one was powered by a GWS gear motor but I have now switched to a Brushless Outrunner. There is one servo controling the elevators out on each wing and one servo that controls the rudders in the center V sections of the body.

  • Whats the aerobatic capabilities of that like, or are there any?

  • I've performed a couple loops with it but for the most part I like to fly it real slow at very high angles of attack. There are NO spars in the wing so they flex up and down very easily. I only fly it out doors in dead calm air.

  • its a really neat concept that you should maybe think about marketing towards beginners in the sport..

  • I would not consider the Paper Plane a beginner plane, but I have thought of offering a basic kit of the plane.

  • The airplane is CNC hot wire cut out out of a Styrofoam block in the shape of a paper plane, I still make and fly to this day.

  • is it made of foam or paper?
