Was up the Glen Lochy road today in my lorry. Unfortunatly where it turns up from Kennock wasn't taken over by the council and is still private , although up until the begining of this year you could still drive over to Glen Lyon

@dowling1981 The significance of 2012 could mean many things including transformative or cataclysmic events that may happen on the 21st December 2012.It is said to be the end date of the 5000 year long Mayan calendar.Some say that in 2012 humans may undergo a spiritual or physical transformation,others say it will be "the end of the world",the Earth crashing into a passing planet called "Nibiru".I don't say i believe it or disbelieve it,we'll just have to wait and see!

maybe a harder life but it was less stressful . And how many would go back . Me for one . The manual labour was greater but there is more stress in driving now with transpot regulations and congestion .

these is wat i call real truckers and not many like this still out there and some people dont really appreciate truckers at all cause they don't even know what truckers really contribute to them

almost everything that around us delivered by a truckers who is somewhere and might still be delivering something right now

Aye I remember my dad when i was a kid he was on the cement, it was all hand balled on too , Drivers were proper drivers them days !

Great film! I love the teleprinter. Used in the days before fax machines it was analogue but similar to digital. We used to use a similar system back in 1975 that used punch cards. Anyone remember Punch Cards?
