I lived in Connecticut in 1980s & unfortunately voted for Dodd one time. The guy was a Senator for 30 years and decided to run for President in 2004 because I am guessing that somebody on his staff told him that 7 or 8 people in the country said they might vote for him which was all Dodd needed to hear to be convinced to run. It was a terrible mistake for him career-wise because it revealed that Dodd was just a potted plant who never actually accomplished anything in all his years in office.

I lived in Connecticut in 1980s & unfortunately voted for Dodd one time. The guy was a Senator for 30 years and decided to run for President in 2004 because I am guessing that somebody on his staff told him that 7 or 8 people in the country said they might vote for him which was all Dodd needed to hear to be convinced to run. It was a terrible mistake for him career-wise because it revealed that Dodd was just a potted plant who never actually accomplished anything in all his years in office.

I thought protecting copyright was a constitutional principle? Ya, Article 1 Section 8 (it even came before the 1st AMENDMENT). Taking away property of websites? What about the property of copyright holders? Putting up pirated stuff on a website is a form of speech...but it's NOT protected by the 1st Amendment. Let's at least consider both sides of the debate...regardless of what libertarian law professors say it means.

Their content(tv shows and documentrys) has been overpriced and not released on dvd blu ray fast enough or for download which is what kazaa was primarily used for.Songs/artists have released free songs into p2p networks that have gone viral leading to massive itune sales.Theres no excuse for the late adoption of digital media except greed.Like in the case of kodak.

@Jman992000 Actually digital is cheaper to maintain and far easier then a store, an album 21 songs = 10-17 pounds currently.Itunes is 1 pound per song so thats 21 pounds some are even upto 3 pounds.they make 4-11 pounds at least profit that can go straight to the artist.cutting out physical stores mark up as people have been craving music for their computers to put on ipods since 2001 !! LOL Forcing people to pirate cos of copyright software that wrecks computers for doing the right thing!
