First, there is really no "resistance". That which appears to be resistance is actually fear. When "love energy meets fear energy", it begins to affect the "fear energy" which may or may not create more or less fear. The love remains the same.

Maybe it would be more to the point to ask if love can be overwhelming to those who set up a resistance to it. If these two different energies meet, what happens to the energy?

No one fights "against" love ~ many are simply afraid of receiving a feeling that would request them to let go of their story.
