Appreciate that mate. After landing at 18 different airports over previous 28 days, I had had a wee bit of practice. Lilydale was fogged in so diverted for fuel, visited Royal Vic, (whom we were originally going to hire from, but they cancelled on us 6 weeks before take off), and then flew back to Lilydale. If you want to do a long cross country flight across the outback, Lilydale Flying School is the place to rent from. They are top notch, good aircraft and friendly staff.

Thank you mate. I learned to fly at Moorabbin 27 years ago with the Melbourne Uni Flying Club and was the first club member to obtain his license and go on to URPPL and a Class 4 IFR. Best of luck with your training.
