  • stay out of are fucking life's you assholes

  • hey, did you hear about the 4000% tax on asprin. They're still ironing out the details but, I was told that it is because they are white and they work.

  • A church actually had been burned to the ground which was the weekly commune of a local Member of Parliament here in Canada. As it turned out, it had been two kids hiding behind the church playing with matches.

Why wasn't there uproar? If a church is protested repeatedly, the protesters have demonstrated motive. If no protests have occurred at said church in Alaska, theres no reason to suspect Palin's connection or association to the arson.

  • man, have you ever been to europe? USA citizens are the most fat people in the world!!!! some of those fat bombs look like MONSTERS... STOP EATING! STOP EATING! STOP EATING!

  • He makes an exceptional point about the Obesity tax; when will it end? So many people have forgotten that spending stimulates the economy, NOT taxing until the product is damned near unbuyable. Let people eat themselves into comas and early death, it is the most basic of human freedoms to decide how to live our lives. We COULD enforce laws making it mandatory for people to only eat certain foods and drink certain beverages but then we'd only be a fascist government that is absolutely broke.

  • The point of the obesity tax is to discourage buying of soda, while recognizing that not all will stop buying soda. So, for those who still drink it after the tax is implemented, they would help pay for a better tax system.

It is in their best interest. Just like placing tax on poisons would discourage idiots from drinking poison, a tax on soda would discourage idiots from drinking harmful substance that are contraindicated for their health.

  • you really have no idea how such taxes work do you? Such a tax is only there because the government wants more money and they have determined they can spin this enough so people may vote for it. If you think this comes from a place of heart felt benevolence on the part of the government then you are really really dumb. Oh and taxing poison does not keep people from drinking poison you loon.

OH AND NEWS FLASH it is not the governments job to keep people from eating unhealthily !!!!!

  • @placidwaves Please tell me you learned a little more about taxes since 2 yrs ago.....

If politicians wouldn't spend money that's not there, there would be no need for this tax.

THE GOVERNMENT DOESNT GIVE A FUCK IF YOU LIVE OR DIE. It's not the govt's JOB to give a fuck about me or you. If you think the gov taxes things to stop people from buying them because they are harmful, you are living in a fantasy world.

    They need MONEY.

I can drink fucking ARSENIC if I want to, IT'S NOT THE GOVs BUSINESS

  • Silence on Palin's church burnings suppose to be on regional news, but the mainstream news is not going to do this because they were attacking her from the start.

  • Why is the guy such a douche bag????

  • 'cause he's right. This is a terrible and dumbfounding time we live in.

  • how is he right on the issue of "obesity tax".

    Basically he is PRO-OBESITY.

Its all well and good that people have the right to be fat and harm their health, but it is not fair that the rest of us have to pay for their health cost due to their outstanding obesity.

So, granted the fact that they will continue to be fat and drink fattening substances why dont we get our money back from them, by way of tax on the soda?

Makes a great deal of sense to me, and that is my stand.

  • So you, personally, pay for insulin for diabetics? You pay for plastic knees for people whose natural ones have gone out due to obesity? How, exactly, do any of us pay for the health care of obese people? If you're talking about rising health care costs, look to those that file frivolous lawsuits against the hospitals, or the manic, raving retards who yearn for universal healthcare. Aren't bulimia and anorexia nervosa also diseases? Should we tax people who buy Ipikak to induce vomiting?

  • The central issue is that fat the soda is detrimental to ones health, consequently leads to obesity which contributes to a myriad amount of health problems that task the health care system.

Their obesity then bloats the cost of medicare because of the fact that individuals who are obese and drink soda are income individuals. Inevitably, due to their low income they subscribe to medicare, of which tax payer pay for.

So if you cant recognize why obese tax is good, then am sorry for ya

  • No, we're sorry for YOU. Taxing doesn't solve the problem, it rearranges it. Government should be OUT OF THE MEDICAL INDUSTRY.

  • Saying that taxing soda does not solve the problem of obesity secondary to soda intake is comparatively as asinine as saying that taxing smoking is an ineffective way of reducing the number of smokers and consequently makn people healthy.

Now, i recognize ur too much of an imbecile to understand the point i made above, so i will say this; regulation of products that are prone to abuse(soda, cigarettes) has categorically been evidenced as solving the problems if not, then at least minimizing it

  • No. YOU'RE the imbecile -- for not recognizing the point I was making. You see genius, if we all pay our own bills, there's no need for the government to meddle with their taxation. We think of it as cutting out the wasteful & corrupt middleman. But thanks for name-calling session. We can always count on your kind to show your understanding and compassion for other people.

  • His main point and mine is that the obesity tax sets an idiotic precedent. What next; charge McDonald's? Raise tax on doughnuts? Raise the taxes too high and the demand curve will shift, people will buy less of the products that they enjoy, and the economy will go further down the toilet. Now, I MAY feel differently if Caroline Kennedy gave a damn about obese people instead of just wanting more tax dollars, but she doesn't. And, guys, name calling is not a staple of intelligent debate.

  • To say he is PRO Obesity because he opposes the obesity tax is so laughable. That is just the kind of retard logic I would expect from the loony left. You are retarded

  • correction captain dumbass... every news story i read said arson has not been confirmed. they said arson was suspected, but that the fire could have also been caused by faulty wiring. so how is it the fire marshall who investigated the fire personally can not confirm what caused the fire, but you can?

  • Evidently, even Barbara Walters attributed some of the outrageous lines from Tina's skits to the real Sarah Palin. Your a real credit to journalism, Baba Wawa.

  • Its April and although I've heard many news stories revisiting Sarah Palin's daughter's love life, Ive only heard about the church burning once. That was on Fox News. There was a poll about several things that were actually said by Tina Fey (as Mrs. Palin) - most of the respondents thought they were really siad by Mrs. Palin. I attribute this to HLN, which is Ted Turner's answer to TMZ. During the election, they ran Tina Fey skits non-stop. No wonder.

  • what the auto bailouts worked perfectly, like we were using that $20B for anything else, the UAW needs to keep its 800M nonworking workers on pension payroll COMPLETELY GENEISIS

  • I think the point of the soda tax might be to cut down on the eventual health problems obesity causes, thus saving everyone money on health insurance. I'm not sure on this, but soda seems to be worse for health than cookies, cakes, popcorn, etc. as far as obesity goes, so that's probably why they targeted it. I'm not seeing how this is much different from cigarette taxes.

  • the problem with the bailout of the auto industries was that america has yet to decide if it wants to be capitalist or socialist yet. we call ourselves a capitalist society, but our government spending and our welfare programs rival those of european socialist states.

if america wants to call itself capitalist, and continue to rely on the strength that has always been found in the free market, we need to stop lying to ourselves with this "too big to fail" idea.

  • F the anarchists. Don't use tear gas. Shoot the bastards.

  • any bailout of a private buisness is in direct conflict with the constitution

  • Looks almost human in this early one.

    Actually BLINKS !

Voice has variation and not that later hectoring tone.

They burned PALIN's church down ! It's Coincidence. No one would do it on purpose. Everyone likes her.

Are you a nut ? There are No significant Anarcho-Syndicalists in Greek politics. You'd have to be some kind of loon to think there were.

The people in Greece are Communists old fashioned un-reconstituted Marxists ! Not Anarchists of any description.

  • look I respect your opinion of what you think of this man... but first of all never what makes you think that criticizing this man on how he makes his videos is legit... let him do what he wants... and secondly if you had any sense of what's going on around us why don't you make a video showing him how it's done then..

  • You are right I suppose.

All I can plead is bad habits slide in by osmosis.

I shall hence forth stick to the points of the argument.

  • creative taxation simple for the purpose of stealing the money of the average citizen. it's sick.

sarah palin was retarded and an embarassment. her b.s. church being burned down has nothing to do with her being a retard and it's not "her" church.

the bailout, ANY bailout, IS BS

  • I really dont like the idea of there being no more us auto makers. But they dug their own grave. Besides we wont have to wait too long before somone rolls the dice and forum their own auto company here in america again.

  • But, the fact of the matter is, it wasn't widely known who Sarah Palin's church was. It's not analogous to say that burning down the trinity church because of the Rev. Wright situation is that of Sarah Palin's church. It's all about the intent of the arsonist. If the criminal said, "I did it because I hate our Governor, and I hate her church," then we can assume that he did it for hateful reasons. Everybody knew who Rev. Wright was during that whole fiasco and what church it was.

  • I'm outraged to see no outrage!

This video was fairly okay, I guess, but I gotta wonder if you have ceased using words like "absolutely", "insane", "outrage" or "completely" every few sentences.

  • Just get rid of the Unions All together and that would solve many problems....including the auto companies

  • There is a strong logic between taxing something in order to finance health care induced costs. Cigarattes are taxed for this reason, so why not soda that accounts for 7% of the average American's diet?

I take it you're one of the majority that oppose the auto industry bailout. From that we can conclude you don't work for an american auto company directly or indirectly and you drive a foreign car. Am I right?

  • Foreign cars are better. Flat-out. The US auto companies deserve to fail. Let them make a better product, and they'll succeed.

Taxing cigarettes is a little questionable if you ask me, but there are firm arguments for it, so I'm ok with that one. But taxing food? Thats a slippery-ass-slope. Should we tax movies now because they're taking time away from being productive? Should we tax hours watched of TV because it also can contribute to being fat? How about breaths we take?

  • HTWW blocked me from posting comments to his channel, as like many others I don't agree with him, but it seems I can still respond to those that reply to my posts.

I'd like to see the Japanese compete with America on an even level. No Japanese protectionism, and labour price parity.

I've always bought American cars and trucks, as they are the best value in the long run.

I say tax things that are desctructive to health and productivity. Cigarettes are a good target.

  • This is just an excuse to tax more things for more revenue. They are just saying its for health cause as an excuse. Because if they just taxed ALL soda, including diet, then everyone, including the ignorant masses, would figure it out.

  • No Bailouts. Upstate NY

return to Hunter Gathering if need be.

    Stock up on ammo.

Pull yourself up by the bootstraps.

    Sell the Boat.

  • No bailouts ever.

  • the comments are funny liberals are blind look who the crooks are bo, mini me jackson, rom emanual, Blagojevich and Bernard Madoff. buying and selling senate seats screwing people out of money. bo buying his wife a job with tax payer money and they are not in office yet.I would like to ask the gays if you know that bo is racist because of his racist cult church what makes you think he is tolerant? Someone botox caroline she is scaring me.

  • Gov.Paterson spent $24,000 taxpayer dollars on a rug. A RUG! He is a fat ass himself!

  • Great post of very common sense. Caroline not qualified? I don't know but it seems she is over qualified to join the other 99 idiots presently residing in the Senate. I know, all of them aren't bloated fat cats, but on some days it seems that way.

  • I say no bailout, tough shit if the Unions strangled the industry to the point of failure. If they can't build cars that people want for a price that people are willing to pay; fuck em. It sounds harsh but all that money SHOULD go to what works (which would actually mean letting people spend their own money freely, that money does not belong to the government).

  • it wasn't the Unions FYI, but alot of people think that....... that are not in a union.

  • Are you suggesting that the United Auto Workers is NOT a Union? Or that the UAW didn't cripple the U.S. auto industry?

  • I wonder how much money it will cost caroline kennedy for the senate seat. She is like bo not even qualified to run a mcdonalds

  • Have you seen Britney's new perfume commercial?

    WHOA!!!!

  • No bailouts ever!

  • No Bailouts. Failing businesses deserve to fail

  • No bailout.

Where the hell are the progressives' comments?

  • I just started this channel this week...nobody knows about me yet. Just wait.

  • As a libertarian (like you), I'm against govt subsidizing or giving special "bridge loans" to any companies, but ESPECIALLY those in trouble. If a firm's goods & services are so great & sexy, then there should be enough demand from consumers that the firm would thrive w/o govt support. If a firm needs a govt subsidy, then they're just admitting that they're inefficient, & therefore unworthy of taxpayer $.

P.S. I subscribed b/c ur Advocate1234 channel messaged me. Keep vlogging, good stuff.

  • Thanks. Spread the word.

  • no bailout

  • i live in new york and i am pissed about the obesity tax its the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

  • Nice and consistent closing.

Keep it up, it would be a nice trademark for your vids. ;)

  • I'm not surprised about the taxes. It's not a bad idea, I think. I mean - it's a fucking ridiculous outrage and just the government trying to exploit America's general mentality about food for their financial benefit.. but it's not a bad idea, lol. My cigarettes are taxed to the point where I can barely afford food (my priorities are so straight) so it only makes sense they would raise prices.

  • good vid man! keep making them and I'll continue to watch.

  • Nice video's man. your just like sxephil, except you stick to the point and the news. I like that.

    from your 12th subscriber,
