I remember listining to this song for the first time with a chick outsite the Caleche in Lausanne in 1983. I wanted to get into her pants, and eventually did. A wonderful marriage and 4 kids later. All thanks to Yello!

A man wakes up in the evening in his smokey new york apartment, he looks out of his window and sees a crouded street full of trafic. he walks around his apartment looking for drink, trying to kill some time. he grabs the phone and calls his office secretary and asks to meet her, he gets no reply so he sits down and just watches the tv in the dark with a vodka in one hand and a cigarette in the other.
