Kim choked badly in the second round - or another way to look at it is that Azaryuna made a great comeback. One would think that getting an early lead in a Dictator mirror match would almost certainly spell victory for players of similar skill level.
if players are of equal skill then we may compare them to two sides of a fair coin. just because you flip a couple of times and heads comes up twice doesn't mean heads will be the winner at the end of, say, a match where first side to ten wins. I don't know if you will understand this but trust me the sentiment you expressed is horribly flawed.
Your logic only works a priori. BEFORE the round started both players have the same chances if they are equally skilled. What I observed was that Kim got an early lead in stamina, and with much more health at the beginning of the round the chances to win aren't 50/50 anymore if you play the rest of the round correctly.
no of course once kim gets the lead, assuming both players are equal, he has the better chances. but in terms of statistical abberation its hardly what I'd call a rare occurence for the other side to catch up and surpass the other, again assuming both sides are equal. its called variance in poker, a lot of gamblign principles actually apply to street fighter and other strategical games
I'm at a dilemna...
Part of me watched this match and found it to be awesome...Another found it silly
Why must Dittos always be in the gray in terms of match ups...and white dictator versus black dictator...doesn't sound right does it?
