Sorry not finished... MMA is not real fights, its close to real but not real in the sense that your going to run into a fully trained BBJ/Jujitsu/MuayThai fighter on the streets. Self defense situations are different, hugely different. Yeah MMA is wonderful and I watch MMA and study it as well, but these styles are for when someone grabs you by the shirt, collar or even grabs a knife and you can disarm. I have used this in real application to save my friend from killing his brother with a knife.
Let me explain it to you Koksukay. MMA is different then real life application. Your talking about trained vs trained combatant which is also sport fighting with rules. MMA has holes too, for instance you cant bite, eye gouge, kick to the balls, knee while your man is down... so on and so forth. Also this form of Jujitsu is just a fragment of Jujitsu as a whole. There are billions of situations, and the applications of this type of jujitsu are real and battle proven on the battlefields of Japan.
im sorry man, but u dont know what u r talkin about. Go to a jiujitsumaster and just tell him u dont believe that this personal defence that he teaches is correct, and let him prove it to u in a fight. U ll see for ur self.
this vid is just an example to TEACH the move, which is really difficult (and dangerous) to do in real time, thats why they are doing it this way; further on, they ll surely train realtime, but not until black belt or 1st kyu, where no one is harmed.
duh, its to show the propper use of the technique dude, its not that the guy will attempt to pull one of those out from thin air while u unload strikes upon him.
thats the reason the strike is very explicit, to know in what moment the technique the sensei does can be used. Besides, the propper use of those moves in a battle, is with the use of atemis that allow the defender to stop the unload while doing the technique, which is only used if commmon atemis wont do.
This was filmed at a class. This was done in a way for people to see what he was doing and learn the techniques.
Also people now a days seem to forget about the term "Martial Art." It's supposed to be an art form. A lot of modern martial arts are really just sports. This is a great combination of art and self-defense.
This was done very well,I wish to start doing more of your style in the future,as I believe in mixed style and diverse knowledge! please check out my movie and let me know what you think so far,I can't throw my training partner for fear of dislocating his shoulder
The best YouTube channel. keep it up!

Three forms of action
"No Challenge"
"No Resistance"
"No Injury"
Koksukay, if you are ever in Monterey, CA I'm sure if you attended a seminar or a class you would learn a lot. God bless.

i mean, if u refer strictly to whats more useful, a kick to the groin, a kick to the face and a punch in the stomach would do; but what if it doesnt?

Nice editing. Now it is more exciting having a flow from one quick scene to another.
