First they show a guy who looks like a normal kid, then they show pictures of him in court with his hair looking normal, then they show him shaved and on drugs (obviously happened in jail).. How could anyone be so stupid to even believe this really happened? Even the woman who supposedly got shot THROUGH the wrist was videotaped leaving the hospital with NO bandages. And, you can clearly see both wrists and they are perfect. Lot’s of things don’t add up with this story!

There are just two things I need to know.

1. He was anti-government and paranoid.

2. He planned the assassination of Gabby Giffords, a Democrat. If he were a "leftist," and it was purely a political killing, shooting anyone other than a right-winger would be pointless.

Frankly, I don't care why he did it (well, I do, but you know what I mean...) - I just know that the rhetoric, particularly coming from our leaders, needs to be toned down.

@demmmmm1 All I know is what the people closest to him have stated. One stated he "wasn't left wasn't right" the other stated he was "left wing and quite liberal". In any case he couldn't be farther from the "Bible Totin flag waving T-Party" he was an Atheist and loved the whole burning flag concept. @cchanderson Can you provide the quote where the Sheriff calls the guy a "right-winger." I don't recall that. I do recall how upset he was with the hate-speech in this country, but don't recall him ever calling the guy a right-winger.

Either way, the right-wing needs to grow up. There's a reason everyone looked to the right-wing right away. It's because they use lots of anti-gov't rhetoric and consistently talk about guns and revolution. Time to tone it down a few notches.
