They are playing at different positions, they have their own style of play - Kobe more like mid range shooter and LeBron, because he has great body, drives more to the basket, so that's why stats are better. @Cavsfanlbj23 In my opinion, if we really want to compare players, they should be equal to each other, I mean the same period, a very similar teams (kobe was from begining on the strong team, so he had to conquer to starting lineup, while LeBron was 1pick on very weak team at that time, means more playing time, much faster improving of skills.), same positions and only then compare them.:) Of course they're both incredible players now.

LeBron didn't come up short... The Cavaliers came up short, as a whole team. King James did his part but his "supporting cast" didn't play well enough for them to win. LeBron averaged 38-8-7 in the Orlando series so he didn't come up short. Mo Williams was good in the regular season the struggled ALL Post season. The bench was non existant they aveaged 8 points vs orlando 8 POINTS!!! The only player that along with LeBron vs. Orlando was Delonte West.
