I dont think being a Cebuano is an excuse for him not to join the Big Leagues...

Although University of Visayas is one of the premiere schools in developing future basketball cagers, iba parin pag laking UAAP or NCAA coz of the intense training and exposure of the kids...

seriously, even if he would be studying in mindanao, the professional league will come to look for him. He has an unusual height, and anyway UV has a nice basketball program, most of the cebuano players now a days who are in the PBL are from UV.. and if they will defeat ateneo in CCL... i can really say that UV's one hell of a team!
