I have a different way to make this but you make me realize how teriyaki chicken should be. Thank u so much for this amazing tutorial. Corn starch woo hoo.
@petmycatwiththose Yeah, it is a ceramic knife made by Zayka. I have had it for a couple of months and it really works well. I might even look into getting a ceramic chefs knife. Thanks for watching!!!
you are the first person on youtube ive seen use anything "holland house"......holland house has the best marsala cooking wine ive ever tasted......ive been wanting to do a vid of steak or chicken marsala......if you beat me to it, that would be great.....just dont forget the mushrooms......hehehehe
@meluv2cook This is the first time that I used it as well....the flavor is good, kind of a mild wine flavor. I used the Holland House brand. Thanks for watching!!!
@LMN1968 Your welcome...glad you like it! If you get a chance to make it, you might want to use low sodium soy sauce or double the sherry to dilute it a little because it was salty. I like it salty, so it didn't bother me. Thanks for watching!!!
Wow - that looks good. I'll definitely try that. Home made teriaki has to be even better; no chemicals. By the way, my experience with those skewers is to soak them in water before putting the food on - keeps them from burning on the bbq. Thanks - great idea.
This is the best chicken....

I make this at home too, great on the grill. Be sure to soak the wooden sticks also, so they don't stick to the chicken when cooked.

If you can add the cornstarch before you heat a sauce, it's easier. Sometimes there's no reason to wait till it's hot :)
I'm making these today they look YUMMY!

I have been using Kikkoman Teriyaki sauce from their Takumi Collection, and it's good but a little too salty.
Your recipe looks delicious, and I had to lol at "meat with a handle".
It's always a pleasure to watch you cook.
