For the curious, the movie is called THE WISDOM OF CROCODILES. In it, Jude Law plays a vampire who is affected by the emotions in the blood he feeds on. So, when he picks a victim, he spends time "preparing them" by trying to make them as happy as possible. Love is, apparently, the best emotion, so he usually goes the wooing/seduction route. One can only imagine how many times he used that ring.
