  • wrist lock is very good.its look more practical

  • Great techniques, but at full speed all those techniques go out the window.

  • @ServantOfYah they are not techniques but concepts

In systema there are really no techniques but concepts and understanding movements

  • i think he has a background of aikido, and knows sliat, cuz some of this is very well done and uses a combination of atemi, and joint locks, very good demo,,, arigato

  • I think you should try to get out of it anyway you can. But the fact remains that sometimes you simply cant, if you can get your knife out, great, use what you know. You act like learning to fight with a knife is stupid... Im sure it gives you some kind of edge over the low life thats trying to rob you or whatever. Most likely he just bought a knife and acts badass. I dout most trained knife fighters run around robbing people with amazing skills...Its not hard to win if you trained and he didnt

  • Solid Iam sold.this guy speaks very calmly and clearly and make you believe you can do the same

  • To Systema Manny is what to the force Yoda is...

  • finally emmanuel is sharing his talent on youtube, he is the real deal when it comes to self defense, he is a great instructor he knows how to move and how to explain properly

    thumbs up

  • As a student of Emmanuel's - writing under a pseudonym unfortunately - I can tell you first hand that his methods are both effective and relatively easy to learn. Systema, although it certainly isn't designed for sport and competition and would not fare well in such conditions, is extremely practical and well-worth looking into if you are serious about defending yourself on the streets. Also, it's a hell of a lot of fun! Check out "Manny's" upcoming video and see what I mean.

  • See ya in class Mr. Levesque...

  • Seems like an excellent teaching approach - Thumbs up!!!

  • Very nice work E! This is something that people can work and learn from right away. Keep up the good work. I am glad to see you here.

  • that was captivating and enlightening from the first second!

  • now thats what i am talking about.

  • Dude can kick ass !!!

That's what I like, real training for todays kind of self defense.
