Prince William County in Virginia passed an SB 1070-law back in 2007. It allows them to check immigration status if they have reasonable suspicion or if the person has been arrested on any infraction. Illegals do time then get handed over for deportation. Consequences of EPIC Win for PWC :
@TheTankinTortuga Interesting statistics.......and then the Gov't wonders why they can't sway the rest of us over to their side on this issue by trying to bombard us with false lies in the media.........true Americans have seen their towns slowly getting torn apart by crimes and even though it is a quiet admittance in some cases, they know where and with what classifications of race the majority of these criminals fall into.
Please explain to me, that if a bunch of states formed a Union, and established laws for the Union, why a state in the Union cannot make it a law for the police in the state to enforce the laws of the Union?
But, many cities in the Union, have passed laws and set policy, providing immigration sanctuary for illegal aliens who violate the immigration laws of the Union, and the President of the Union, is not suing those cities for providing immigration sanctuary?

Each state in the Union, is an entity.
Each has its OWN consitutution.
We do know from the past [Lincoln & the Civil War], however, that deviating the (perfect) Union, may have consequences.
