What a great band. In a class of their own. We drove from Toronto to Boston for the opening two shows of the tour. It was a happening man. Had a great long weekend in Boston and met loads of cool people at the gigs. Met Tim after the show and begged him to play GETTING AWAY WITH IT when they got to Toronto. They played it for the first time this tour in Montreal but not in Toronto the next night. Nevermind, I got to go to three James gigs in ten days so life is beautiful.

"We're Going To Miss You" is pure class too. The Millionaires record is defo under rated. Hey Ma is a great comeback so lets hope the radio stations get on board. Toronto's 102.1 Edge has not been playing James. Which is very dissapointing for a "new rock and indie" station. They normally promote most the British bands that come to TO. Have the Montreal stations been playing any tunes from Hey Ma?

Indeed...I just wish the radio stations here would get on board with the latest offering from James ..."Hey Ma' is a great Disc and deserves regular air play, considering they have some great tunes on it...but the stations here don't seem to be appreciative of James. I guess though James, somewhere along the line, prefer it this way (I'm just second guessing).

I saw them in Montreal as well. First time and the only way I can describe it was pure joy. One of the best shows I have ever seen and the crowd was magnificent. Can't wait to see them again.

Yes, James reformed in 2007 and have just released a new album and are coming to the end of their second UK tour, with dates announced for a third tour at Christmas here in the UK.

Hmm... Maybe it's overcooked by all the electronic production, but it managed to grab my attention with being as infectuously poppy as it is, diresting me twrds James' canon, plus it adds to their musical diversity!!! So if they keep writing great songs, it isn't much of a disaster. :-)
