  • Welcome to the post Hairspray Sixties. This film is a real work of God and a real work of nostalgia.

  • Just to think at the time, I was completely unaware of ALL THIS. I was living my own life, in South Africa; having my own personal experience of this Jesus Christ; who came to our planet over 2000 years ago. • Jesus said he came not to bring peace but a sword. Christians have a deep inner peace that passes all understanding that non believers will never have without Him. It doesn't mean that we never feel emotions that some might characterize as not having peace, it means that we know that everything is in the hands of almighty God. He will take care of it all.

The 60s and 70s had songs about Jesus on secular radio stations, e.g. 'Spirit in the Sky'. Music has been overwhelmed with negativity for quite some time now, but at least the 60s and 70s had a lot of positive songs even if they weren't blatantly Christian.

  • Jesus is the only answer!
