Orcs are honorable people. Even if they want to kill you, they'd only kill you if you 1) posed a real threat to them or 2) you had a weapon in your hand. I really don't see why everyone sees them as pure evil...I mean sure, mannoroth really kinda screwed them up, but that would only apply to the ones with red eyes...any other orc with any other colored eye would only fight you if you provoked them, hence every other warcraft Novel about orcs...or night elves.

You guys have all been killing level 30 wolves on your 80s way too much. From a realistic standpoint, if you saw a hungry, ferocious rabid wolf almost twice your size, none of you morons would fight it, you'd run. Admit it.

And the reason orcs are portrayed as villians is, well, not because of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings but from the god damn base lore of Warcraft. And besides, the orcs in this video are Blackrock Orcs - they're assholes and villains to begin with.

well... the animation was pretty good, but the voices sucked, you need to put more feeling in it. for example when the protagonist screams at the end "noooo!" you realy have to scream and not to say it like you just dont care ;)

The reason Orcs are almost always portrayed as villains is A) most people don't have the god-damn intelligence to think outside the box that Lord of the Rings built, and B) we've had the idea that anything not pretty or handsome is bad beaten into our skulls over the past fifty-forty years by just about every media outlet around. And yes I love Warcraft Orcs.

Don't just go around blaming Lotr, orcs were created from Tolkien's mind so if he decided to make them the villains so be it. Other people then used orcs aswell, incl. Blizzard. Rather blame the people that can't think outside Lotr.

U can't either blame the fact that orcs were portrayed as evil in WC 1 and 2 aswell. They changed this in WC 3, but the thoughts linger.

But i can honestly say i'm an Orc myself ingame, and they're not evil in my eyes either atm

Not the war of the 3 hammers, not Blood Elves, These are Hi Elves (like someone already said) and the dwarves were defending Grim Batol. The Hi Elf warrior took out the scouting party not an entire raid. Yes u are right, the orcs were dragonmaw. The first elf was killed by a shaman or other magical animal (can't remember atm, hence the leaf and why his brother said "you killed my brother" to the orc).

I think this machinima would be great to redo over, the voice acting was pretty bad at times and sometimes unbearable. If he went back and re did all of the voices it could be pretty frikin good. The story and plot I found pretty good overall. I give it 3 stars =P (not flaming critiqueing, I love machinimas)
