Lovely story. One thinks of the many suicides from the Golden Gate Bridge and how one moment might have changed the mind of the person comtemplating the dark leap. A child retains with innocence the succicinctly appropriate expression of compassion, albeit born of mistaken identity, to reach past desperation. A moving piece evoking beautiful sentiment.
