how can we work with that noise :D i thought the famous company have "the best" R&D team:D
i myself just had chances to use Benq netbook and ASUS laptop core i3. The Benq is small so it sounds loud when I do heavy job(watch Youtube clips). I want to know have you get this trouble with other brands (Lenovo and HP ). thanks!
Fans in this model can get damaged by over heating resulting in distortion. This is usually caused by blocking the vents underneath, e.g. using the laptop on bedclothes or similar. Always use on a flat surface (and a tray in bed) and never block the cooling vents. The fan needs replacing.
@betmanxl I agree, but the point is that it started making awkward sounds in less than 15 days since I bought it. And I took extreme measures to preserve it from EVERYTHING that could harm it from day 1 (since it was something I payed too much for and it was my first laptop ever). So there was absolutely no contact with anything that was less than perfectly flat and solid. I just assume that I should avoid buying "made in China" technical equipment....
@feb2885 Even a normal fan on these is quite loud with a heavy blowing sound. But buzzing indicates that one or two blades are touching. Search Fix Sony Vaio VGN-CS110E Noisy fan. This shows the proper way to replace the fan. Replacements can easily be found on eBay. Avoiding China means you will be back to pen and paper!
You Need to repair the Fan in the Heatsink. It needs to be lubricated. I had the same problem with my VGN-cs18GN and 6 months later it still blows silently.
