A few weeks ago my cat got attacked by a dog and ran away... I've listened to this song everyday since then praying it would lull her back..... and it did :)

When I got my first cat when I was seventeen, my sister played for me Plea from a Cat Named Virtue.

When he died a year later after my mom's new dog kept scaring him out of the house, and he got ran over by a car... That's when my sister played for me this song.

Now, either songs, I cry. I cry from the memory of getting him and him changing my down-in-the-dumps life, to the moment he stopped coming home and, well, died in front of the house.

Okay, I admit it, the first time I heard this, I sobbed uncontrollably for 25 minutes. I also forced my, now extremely bemused, cat to come sit in my lap. This song is so sad! I almost hate listening to it because I completely lose it when I do. And I do not cry easily!

The "Sound that you found for me" is the cat's name, he can't remember it. Obviously he didn't just say name because it's from the point of view of a cat, and cats don't speak English, so it's just a sound to him. This song is heartbreaking, really.
