  • I am glad you see the benefit of combining the 2 methods of training. I wholeheartedly concur. Although, according to trainers and the Power Plate School in Chicago, 40 Hz was optimum for massage. Remember, depending on mass and weight of an individual, 50 Hz is doable depending on the goals of the person. There are many kinds of Olympic standard athletes that do different events. I wouldn't be so sure that Olympic athletes shy away from this setting for strength work. :+)

  • was really excited when I found this video because I want to start combining my 2 favourite methods of training...power plate and kettlebells..but seriously...50hz and high is ONLY for massage, the frequency is too high for your muscles for it to actually do any good!!!! Even Olympic standard athletes wouldn't do strength work at this setting....

  • I think the best settings for you will be 30~35/60/high . Because a lower frequency is more challenging.

  • @BorgGiXtah, I see what you mean but I've found with doing the lower frequency at my height and weight, the intensity is lacking. It took a little over 2 years to max out the machine. Even at the highest setting, it is THE MOST challenging setting for me when kettlebells are added. Thanks for the advice!

  • This machine is for everyone. Look up power plate on youtube.com and you will see how this can work for anyone.

  • Is this a serious question? Because if you look throughout youtube.com, your question can be answered.
