@s4loking there is underground terrain, and i guess they wait with elves and dungeon for an addon.

the mainfocus is on orcs/humans/ and the war with the demons.

i think theyll release an add-on about the split of the silver cities (academy and necromancers) and possibly the same with dungeon and elves.

Dungeon gotta be my favorite, for a couple of reasons. Mana vortex, you end up having like 300 mana points so you can spam your implosion ore lightning bolt and*insert spell here* the whole time. Black dragons who are immune for all magic, so just have a couple of black dragons and just cast the spell armegeddon and you have instant victory. And the best reason cause its a creepy castle to begin with.

I really hate in heroes 5 how there wouldn't be any explanations as to how you get items and stuff - In heroes 3 it would say you found some old battlefield or something and found the armor, gave a neat little story.

In heroes five - You get the armor. And that's that. Woohoo. :|

When comparing Towns, heroes and buildings must be put into consideration. Besides the ridiculously overpowered Conflux, Dungeon and Castle are nearly par due to the heroes and buildings. Two Warlocks START with Resurrection and have easy access to any school of magic, especially Earth and Fire. There are two Castle heroes which stand out, Adela (Diplomacy is OP) and Sir Mullich (+2 Speed...)

Overall Dungeon is my favourite town, even before Castle.

Tactical combat town, mana vortex is great, 2 good ranged units plus 3 fliers, great for siege plus during defence gaze of medusas and paralyse of manticores help very much if your walls are penetrated. Overall very strong

I think Dungeon is one of the best towns. Some reasons:

1.) It has mage guild 5

2.) It has one of favourite monster: Minotaur King.

3.) It has some good creatures.

4.) It gt good magic heroes. (Malekith is my favourite, because I love "Sorcery")

5.) Mana vortex and that experience place.

6.) Black Dragons (Even though I like Archangels better).

Dungeon is a good town. While something like Fortress, sucks. (Personal opinon, even though I love those Mighty Gorgon's death stare.

i think you didn't play human opponents with reasonable iq.

Fortress is one of the best towns, but lets stay ot Dungeon.

1st. and foremost reason: It has Shakti as a hero

2nd. Portal of Summoning!

3rd. nice lvl 6 flier to battle lots/horde lvl 2 and 3 shooters week 1/2/3.

last - if you ever get to black dragons you get speed and magic resist to win the speed/slow contest : )

now forget Sorcery and learn to get logic and earth magic to complement the offense and tactics you already have : )

I like Dungeon as well, but other castles like Fortress are just as good. You simply need the right tactic and amount of units; perhaps a combination of different castles. The Minotaur Kings are definitely tough, and the Black Dragons can be a pain in the a**. Deemer is the best hero imo for Dungeon : ) To start out with meteor shower helps you A LOT in the beginning. And the mana vortex rocks! :D

sry but you are mistaken - Dungeon is a good town, but Medusas and Black Dragons are hardly the reason. The town has one of the best heroes and structures, namely - Shakti and Portal of Summoning. While Medusa has it's crowd control capabilities, it's mostly the Black Dragon that helps. It's speed and anti magic helps win the mass slow/haste wars.

Black Dragon is the best unit in the game imo, even though it looses to arch angels, but damn.. 100% Spell resistance is a powerful trick in the end.
