@candylover1991 The real Mary Jane didn't drown. She was transported through time along with the Hobgoblin a.k.a Norman Osborne when he found out Spider-Man and Peter Parker are one in the same. The clone Mary Jane was destroyed along with Hydro-Man some episodes back. The clone Mary Jane is dead, but the actual Mary Jane is just lost in time. Had the series continued, we actually would have seen her in Colonial England.

Compointing on what mega said, it makes total sense. The Peter from this universe is arrogant in the extreme - rather, he is like when he was a wrestler. Arrogant, proud, etc....Spiderman became who he is when the criminal he failed to stop as a wrestler later killed Ben. It was from that event that Peter lived Ben's line, "With great power comes great responsibility". With No dead Ben...

I liked how Gwen was in this universe. Adds to the "Nothing bad happened" reality.

Thing is, if Ben never got killed in Iron Spiderman's reality, then why is Iron Spiderman doing the superhero thing, instead of continuing to be a wrestler? What's the motivation? Unless Iron Spiderman does the hero act just so he can show off, lol then I see your point.

Story Editor/Producer John Semper mentioned that, if there was a sixth season, it would've been only five or six episodes in which Spider-Man and Madame Web would travel through different periods of time to find the real Mary Jane Watson. Spidey was apparently going to find her in Colonial England along with Cletus Kasady/Carnage, who was posing as Jack the Ripper. Spider-Man would've stopped Carnage, saved Mary Jane, and Madame Web would've returned the couple pack to the present time.

So I read throughout a lot of the comments...I'm not happy that most people/fans do not like the ending to this series. It was great. We got to see uncle Ben, Gwen and more. Peter gave up his life as spidercarnage to save the world he was trying to destroy. As far as MJ. Well hello, Madem Web has beyonder super powers lol. She's taking PEter Parker spiderman to finally save MJ. So regardless how it ended, it was freaking awesome. Best spiderman cartoon series ever and will always be.
