Last week I lost two of my best friends. My cat who I got when I was 5 was the closest thing I ever had to a brother. He died at 21 in my granma's house; the home he spent his entire life in. You'll always be in my heart Jazzman! Also my albino boa Hugs who I've had since I was 13. Hugs taught me how to care for and love snakes. He got me through some tough times. The responsibility of caring for an animal gives life purpose when all other purpose has been stripped.

I just lost my 5 year old golden lab 4 days back. She's was little sunshine in our home, our lives seem so empty and miserable without her. I cried and cried after watching this video. Beautiful what really makes me mad is the way some people act when you lose your furbaby, likes it's no big deal. In all my years here on earth I realize that I love animals more than I do some people. Miss you Sam, I love you and I will be with you again someday. Thank you for creating a beautiful memorial video for all of us who have lost our companion animals! Your music is just so smooth, beautiful and flowing. The poem hurt my heart! I lost 3 beloved older cats within a 11/2 year time period!!! I never ached so much. The oldest cat was 18 and that was the "worst" All the cats had their ashes blessed and I have a shrine area for them where the crystals flicker rainbows when the sun passes over. A year ago today,I made the awfull choice to let my dog go. Even to the end, when she could no longer get on the bed, she would rest her head on the edge until she fell asleep. I remember my cat Bluchie (Jewish CH sound), who was the fattest, most tolerant, and most lovable cat ever. Once when I was a little kid, I pulled him across the couch by his tail, but he didn't mind. He ate all the human food he could get his paws on, and usually slept on my parents' bed. But the years caught up to him, and one day he started to limp. That night, he slept in my bed, because it was lower than my parents' bed.

My dog came to me for one night only and stayed 7 years. He had been badly mistreated and it took a month to gain his trust. He was my best friend and i learned a lot from him.
