well her story seems odd too me. i think her father used elizabeth for money. i think her father was in debt Big time. And elizabeth was the only pretty one in the family. Her parents seems realy off. like they were having marriage problems.I think her mom are dad set up the hole kidnapping.Because i think her parents one of them didnt want too get a devoriced.if you think about it. elizabeth would be like jaycee. jaycee could care less about the media attention.

Wow interviewer sucked balls, so unprepared with those questions made it do awkward. I bet both of them were just waiting for the timer to go off. Elizabeth seemed unable to find words too. Plus I don't agree with the foundation part teaching kids special skills, it's a waste of time

..Jaycee Dugards story is way more horrible than this..HE took her "runs" that lasted forever.That is where he would Rhape her.When he first raped her when he was done with her she asked and was scared why was she bleeeding down there.Then he flat out says "I just Popped ur cherry" n laughs...That is when i put down the book...and he such a creep...i havent finished the book since..it such a terrible thing to read.So sad to think bout wat happened to her. WE ARE HAPPY UR BACK JAYCEE

Someone on the Salt Lake Tribune board is claiming that Elizabeth Smart has herpes, that she has a cold sore just under her nose that is a sign of herpes. Anyone know if there's any truth to that? I think it's total crap, but people have commented that she has a cold sore.

I'm happy that Ms. Smart has been able to move on and find peace. But this interview was a little strange to me. Maybe she's still adjusting from being a mormon missionary? Also, was it really necessary to take 3,217 photos of her sitting in a chair? Ambitious photographer is ambitious.

She's been speaking French almost exclusively for two years (except for the trips she made home for the case), so maybe her English isn't coming as naturally as it did before. Missionaries also lead a fairly routine or planned life, and you're with your companion 24/7. Leaving that all behind takes some adjustment. It can be a shock to return to your old life. But she'll adjust in no time. I also can't help but wonder if she's naturally a shy girl.
