  • *sees deathnote behind your hand* *Immediate thumbs up* LOL

  • Guh I can't find Rose hip zero... and you have it.....must be nice

  • Wheres your One Piece??

  • how do you like slam dunk? has it been tough to find ?

  • I want to come to your house a read for hours

  • Danm nobody ever gets Berserk i dont understand that???

  • Wow I'm 12 and I'm about to start collecting manga. Can someone tell me if it's really too late?

  • @ProChewer460 - It's never too late to start collecting manga.

  • @Toukah but what age do you start collecting manga I'm just curious :/

  • @ProChewer460 - I started collecting about four years ago, so I would have been sixteen. There really isn't an age limit on manga though, it's timeless.

  • nice library

  • manga collections ftw :)

  • YOU SHOULD READ D.GRAYMAN!!!!!

  • Am I blind or do you not have any Death Note?

  • @JustinCaparas - Skip to 2:03, haha. Death Note was the first manga I ever bought. I also have the volume 13 special and the 'Another Note' novel.

  • @Toukah I guess I am blind! >.<

  • i can't believe you don't like naruto

  • There are a lot of things I want to comment about in this video, but most importantly

How on earth do you have Fujisawa's Rose Hip and Rose hip Zero but not Fujisawa's Great Teach Onizuka?

If you've never read it I implore you try one of the crappy internet scans just to get a taste of how hilarious and awe-inspiring it is then get your hands on Tokyopop's far superior releases.

and a recommendation to you: if you liked Solanin, I think you'd like Sexy Voice and Robo.

  • @kingjamie2 - Because, like most manga released by Tokyopop, GTO has been long out of print. I could never find the full set anywhere and hate buying incomplete series. Tokyopop have also recently closed their US publishing branch and will no longer publish manga in English, so it'll become increasingly hard to find any volumes. I do want to read the series though, I have heard fantastic things about it. I'll resort to the online scans! And thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out. :)

  • I'm going to london in the summer so i'm gonna drag my parents to forbidden planet :p great collection by the way :)

  • Where can you buy these in England?

  • hi hey do u have all the manga of one piece yes or no can u make another youtube video based on your manga please thanks for ur understanding.

  • FK, nice collection dude, did you ever tried the manga " gantz" or "black lagoon"?

  • @Electryzza - I've had a little read of Gantz but not Black Lagoon, although I have seen part of the anime. Both series seemed quite interesting. I'll have to look into them more.

  • Have you ever gone to forbidden planet in London? Thats where i get most of my manga.

  • @thatsdopeification - Yeah, I go there every now and then. They often have a good few sales going on. I buy most of my manga online, though.

  • You also have mangas and DVDs of Naruto?

  • @c6la6ud6io1 - Nope, I don't read or watch Naruto. Sorry.

  • Also - do you have any opinions on One Piece?

  • @SixStringGunSlinger - I have never read the manga and have only seen the first 15 episodes of the anime, along with the sixth and tenth movies, so I am not the most well versed when it comes One Piece. With that said however I did enjoy the films immensely and Oda's art in the manga is very impressive. At 61 volumes and climbing though I think it's a little too long for me, but I don't deny its brilliance.

  • you ever going to make another update video?

  • @SixStringGunSlinger - I probably won't make anymore update videos, but instead I will do another full collection video. I have been wanting to do one for quite a while but things just kept getting in the way. Many thanks for the reminder! I'll try and get it done this weekend.

  • @Toukah Yes, One Piece is very long so I completely understand your apprehension about investing the time, space and money it would take to collect such a behemoth. That said I think you would love it if you ever do give it a real shot. I eagerly await a full collection manga update from you - I have watched this video plenty of times just so can find some new material to watch - you have a great collection...I am sure it has only gotten better with time.

  • @Toukah Yo I FUCKING LOVED VAGEBOND. AND I FUCKING SUBBED YOU. YEA BITCH, YOU RIGHT THERE. YOU'RE ONE AWESOME MOFO BRO.

DID YOU READ VINLAND SAGE? IT'S JUST AS AWESOME AS VAGEBOND.

BTW YOU'RE AWESOME. /nerd rage off

  • @theanimefag - Lmao, thank you very much! :) I read the first few chapters of Vinland Saga some time ago and it was beyond epic. I really should start reading it again.

  • freaking beast...just..beastt

SELLING My Manga Collection ! !

  • if u dont mind my asking, how did u afford all of these. i only have 54. and i want more. O_O

  • tekkon kinkreet FTW

  • I started too collect One piece in January I think. And finally I catched up to it in September. It took time, but it was woth it :)

  • Try one piece, It may seem childish because thats what I thought at before starting and It seems long but trust me when I say it is amazing

  • @AnimeFanGrant62

I thought so too. But I started to collect it. And now it's my all time favourite. Maybe is is my favourite because I have my favourite anime character in One piece. x)

    It's freakin awesome :)

  • @KazamaKetchup Of course it is, am up too 18 right now, that catch up is heaven and hell, so many volumes released it is intimidating people not to start because of length and I cant keep up, but it is great because people didnt have to wait months to get the next volume meaning people wont read online

  • HEEYYY DUDDEEE I'm English also ;), wanted to ask, where can i get manga in england cheap?

  • @ThaThree - Well I usually buy it online either from Amazon or The Book Depository, they're your best bet, but Waterstones sometimes have good 3 for 2 deals on manga so it is worth checking there too.

  • DO YOU HAVE HENTAI OCTOPUS LOLI?? I WANNA SEE

  • haha i have the bleach set too! xD .

  • i lucked out with evangelion

    i bought volumes 4-10 online...i bought 1-3 and volume 11 in stores

volume 9 is the hardest to get a hold of...i finally got it after searching for about half a year :D i have 2 copies of volume 8 and 2 copies of volume 10

  • @earearman

how much did you pay for 4-10?

i bought 1-10 on ebay for $39 USD and an extra copy of vol 10 for only $5

  • @WetnwildhjReturns it wasnt all at the same time...but some i payed like 4 bucks and the rest for regular price...i payed 25 bucks for volume 9 though

  • Ello! Awesome collection! You have some nice stuff :]

How many mangas do you own now? o.o

  • Hi. I love your collection. U recommend a lot of mangas. I was wondering if u have any that u didn't like or regret buying.

  • @Kittychan17 - Hey there! Good question. I guess I regret buying FLCL and Haruhi, as they did not live up to my expectations one bit. I was a little disappointed with Trigun Maximum as well, but it was still a good read. So far Blood+ has been a bit disappointing too.

  • Heay, I am not really familiar with your videos, but do you order your manga's or do you go to your local manga shop? By the way, awesome collection.

  • @DaphneBAKA - I do both. :)

  • awsome collection!

  • you have so many mangas *O* I wish I had more money to buy more :( Black & White is so awesome!! and Welcome to the NHK and...

  • Gah, I still can't thank you enough for getting me into Solanin a while back. (my other YT screen name used to be Scorps2000.)

  • @ShonenJonah - Aha, no problem man. I read it again while I was on holiday last week and it touched my soul to say the least. Such a great manga.

  • @Toukah I will have to do the same soon, I read it for the first time after you suggested it, when I was dealing with hard times and it completely changed my outlook on life at that point in time, and since, I haven't been able to recommend it enough to fellow manga activists. All thanks to you. :P

  • Why don't you have Fullmetal Alchemist... but it now... its amazing!!!

  • @SwiftTheFox15 And Soul Eater... GET THEM!!!

  • u should collect hajime no ippo it and kochikame makes up most of my collection

  • wow, that must have cost alot, <3 wow, amazing.

  • I counted the manga displayed in this video... Over 200 volumes/omnibus. It'll take me atleast 3-5 years to get there, your manga collection's 3/4 larger than mine (I only have about 50 :/).

Anyways I really recommend you check out a new manga series called Bakuman (on 2 high school students trying to make their own manga), it's from the 2 creators that worked on Death Note.

Vol 1 just came out here in the US, I believe it's also out in the UK (if not, then it should be released in September).

  • @GinkoArtEX - I have been collecting for around three years. I remember watching manga collection videos on YouTube years ago and thinking 'damn, it must have taken so long to get that amount', but now here I am! I am sure your collection will be something to behold given time.

I started reading Bakuman online when it first came out in Japan, but oddly enough I just stopped at chapter 38. I want to continue though so I will definitely be buying the English volumes!

  • I'll be checking out Peace Maker thanx man. I finally seen Eva 2.0 un-fucking-believa-bubble! Kan't wait for 3.0 Nice kollection as always man. Adios.

  • @theoriginalrazer - Aha, glad you liked it! Eva 2.0 has got to be my favourite anime film thus far. It was just all around phenomenal. Also, I hope you'll enjoy Peace Maker!

  • dude as i've told u before, ur collection is massive! it is to be admired as well be jealous of (the jealous party being me lol). there's a lot of manga you have i need to read or have yet to read XD but i wonder how long it'll be before you run out of space? where will the manga go then?

  • @guy55997 - I won't run out of space any time soon. The last two shelfs on my bookself are practically free if I just move my magazines and some of my DVDs elsewhere.

  • im Envious of your collection and where do you get hold of your Manga coz in the UK its rather exspensive and its rarely on sale ?

  • @ZacLuvaChic - I often buy it online, mostly from Amazon and TheBookDepository. I live quite near London though and there are many shops around Leicester Square that sell manga, so I don't often have any problem finding any. There are often some bargins there as well. That's where I got Eden, Oh My Godess and Aizu for 99p each. I don't mind paying retail price every now and then, its just when you buy in bulk that things get expensive.

  • Awesome collection!

I really can't wait to get Eden: It's an Endless World. It looks so good. I really want to try out something by Taiyo Matsumodo as well. :)

  • @dmfriend25 - Thank you! I hope you'll enjoy Eden. It has a bit of a slow start and the middle drags on a tiny bit, but the rest is top notch. It's a very compelling, entertaining and intense manga. Definitely one of the best I have read.

  • @HarukaMagical - Thank you!

  • thanks for the vid and the recommendations... do you know of any mangas that are bound into one volume or tome ? you showed solannin (SP?) as collecting mangas that have many series can be space consuming and can be difficult to get all the volumes....

  • @azzar1234 - Tanpenshu is only two volumes and Tekkonkinkreet is one big volume that was originally released as three, the same goes for MW, Azumanga Daioh and Gogo Monster. Trigun is two big volumes and Blue Sping only consists of one volume, as does Goth and SS Astro. Most of Jiro Taniguchi's manga is rather short, such as A Distant Neighbourhood, or are released as big single volume editions, such as The Walking Man, Quest for the Missing Girl and The Ice Wanderer. Hope that helps.

  • @Toukah thanks for the reply, i will check those out on amazon

  • Nice new additions to you collection! I've been wanting to read the Haruhi Suzumiya manga but I'm not sure. The other day, I went and bought 4 new books: Deadman Wonderland Vol. 1, D. Gray Man Vol. 1, Gurren Lagann Vol. 1-2, and I got Foxy Lady Vol. 1 from a friend as a random gift. I now have 33 books in my collection. Once again, congrats on the new additions!

  • @Dragonking50 - The Haruhi manga is rather disappointing in my opinion, especially when compared to the anime or novels. Also, nice purchases! D.Gray-Man and Gurren Lagann are both great and I have heard Deadman Wonderland is very good. I have never heard of Foxy Lady though.

  • @Toukah I dunno if they sell Foxy Lady in the UK yet. They just started selling it here in the U.S.

  • @Dragonking50 - Ah, well if it's on sale in the US then that means its on sale in the UK as well. I don't know the details, whether we import a lot of manga or whether American manga licensors actually distribute manga in this country as well, but thankfully we get manga on the same dates the US do. :) I'll look out for Foxy Lady.

  • @Toukah I hope you find it. And I hope it's enjoyable to you. :)

  • @Toukah haruhi manga disappointing?

    lolwut

i have all 7 volumes out right now and i love it
