Here, listen, I ain't saying Gordon is no good. I think he is an amazing drummer, seen him a number of times with a few bands and he is an awesome player.
I just think it's getting further away from the original feel of the band, that's all.
Don't know where you get your "inside info" from, cos I heard the guys weren't completely happy with the garage gig, and that they thought it wasn't quite the same feel . . . but that's just hearsay . .
Excellent stuff. gunbeat, it was Gordo's first gig and although I'm gutted as much as anyone that Al has gone I thought Gordo did a more than adequate job! Give him time, he'll come through. And what were you thinking going to watch Vow Wow? They were terrible! lol
Hmmmmm, not sure about the drums. Al sais he's a great drummer but Al was the man for the job cos he has the real feel and passion for the songs. I remember Al with the band when they supported Vow Wow at the QM in 1987.
Not sure it has the same feel now he's gone.
JUST GOT ROUND TO GETTING USED TO TOBY SINGIN AND NOW THERE'S ANOTHER CHANGE . . . . Hmmmm.
Now now you lot.
Stop bickering.
I was at the Garage gig and I'm extremely happy that it's the bold Gordo that has taken my place in the band.
He's my good friend and I'll not hear a bad word said against him.
he's an excellent drummer and I have every faith in him.
Rock On Gordo my son!!

He sounds good to me. Constant tempo, solid beat and great fills. And from what I've heard the band love him, so let him get on with it.

Yet again Nige comes up with the goods, apparently he had more cameras there than a sky Premiership broadcast!
