what hr and town quests do you need before you can get the sword beacause i keep trying to get the sword but it wont come out. =( i need it bad i dont got any good weps exept bone 1s. p.s i rule at mhf2 =)
in the greatsword path im mh2, there are 5 greatswords with blue sharpness in the bone path, and only 1 greatsword with blue sharpness in the iron path
granted the true devil slicer is if im not mistaken the strongest lightning elemental longsword in mh2 its not the strongest longsword, as an example the menacing scythe has 912 raw damage, which dominates true devil slicer by quite a bit, as well as a decent patch of blue sharpness and 320 poison
you dont need hunter rank for that, if im not mistaken you have to defeat every offline enemy in the game save for garuga, then u get an urgent quest and when u complete that u can remove the sword
considering your question was over a year ago im sure you got it by now :)
