  • No gloves=quack

  • no gloves but i have to get one but to scared to aghhhhhh

  • I can't believe the dr didn't wear gloves!

  • 0:28 penis!

  • most annoying boyfriend/husband in the world award goes to..........

  • I'm thinking about getting this implant. My fiance and I are looking for more of a long-term birth control. This seems like the safest and more efficient option. =)

  • ewwww i got one of those in my arm now that i saw how there put in i dont want another one it actually makes me queezy

  • Gloves. You definitely need gloves. My doctors wore gloves for both of my implanon procedures (I'm on my second one).

  • Why's he done the iodine in the shape of a willy?

  • en primer lugar la unika tecnika antiseptika q se ve hay es solo la aplikasion de Clorhexidina donde estan los guantes esteriles si se supone que es unprocedimiento invasivo donde las manos aunque sea lavadas igual keda en ellas la flora residente

  • do they numb it first???

  • @JeanetteSpaur yeah. for me it was my favorite part of the procedure lol

  • how painfull is this

  • my best friend has had the implant in for 14 months now, and the whole time it has been horrible. She's been on her period non stop most of the time and says that no wonder it works as birth control...since you can't have sex 90% of the time :( She's gonna take it out.

  • One question???? Why isnt he wearing gloves???

  • @BSTmommy89 they don't wear gloves because when you wear them there's a chance that the gloves may make them slip slightly and then it'll just all go wrong, they do wash their hands an awful lot before :p

  • @BSTmommy89 lol thats exactly what i wondered when i first saw the doctor is that even safe

  • What doc!? And where is this....SWEAR he looks like tje gyneo I went to see today...

  • one question ...why ? as is why video this ?

  • @PrincessRitchie12 No, the real questions is why would SHE need birth control? I doubt she's getting any fooly cooly :P

  • @iTheGeek BirthControl is not just for sex moron.

It's for your hormones, and your period.

  • I'm sure he is a good dr and all, but where I live, its still standard procedure to use gloves even when you do wash your hands.

  • How is it taken out... have you been told??

  • He washes his hands before procedure! washes site with iodine no its not on garbage can cause you see him throw sterile wrappers away at the end - in the garbage can. when you know what you are doing you dont have to check to see if its numb! BEST DR EVER! He actually teaches seminars how to implant implanon, and is top Dr for the implants in our area. Sorry, I know he wouldnt care about what is being said about him, but I do! I will never use anyone but him to deliver my children

  • wtf that just trafalin no f glove osha eport this man please

    r

  • this is disgusting...NO GLOVES? WTF?!!!! and these people dont even complain for this? omg....

  • Comment removed

  • this guy should not be a doctor!! so unsanitary!!

  • seriously.....im a nurse and that is soooooo unsanitary.....arm infection anyone?!?!?!?!

  • where are the gloves? are u serious?

  • I got mine just yesterday, the only thing that really hurt was when she numbed it, then after that i couldnt feel a thing, until i watched this video yeah my arm deffently hurts now lol

  • i just got mine today and i didnt hurt at all...

  • wtf no gloves!

  • he had it sitting on top of a trashcan too

  • that stuff hurts like hell. dont recomend it but the effects are good. no periods and its used for three years without being replaced

  • Ewww, shouldn't he be wearing gloves?

  • What was the point of using iodine if his dirty little paws were gonna contaminate it anyways? This might as well have been done in a dumpster.

  • Where the fuck are his gloves????

  • what a crap nurse!! that was all done wrong! and you are always ment to wear gloves!

  • what a crap nurse!! that was all done wrong!

  • DUMBASS redneckss!

  • Is he wearing any Gloves??? i had mines put in it doesnt hurt that much it feels like a pinch.

  • were the hell are is gloves! and bullshit! it feels like a dam horse needle going in real quick! i just got mine tookin out and put back in! and the only thing that hurt was the cold long numbing needle....and then all preasure.. but wtf...weres his gloves... yuck!

  • WOW, and he didnt even check if it was numb. i would of gone crazy if he did mine

  • Hi, I looking for a place in New york where I can get the implanon. I have medicaid

    Neigborhood health plan.

  • i got mine done 2weeks ago and my body hasnt reacted to it yet. no bruising or marks either, :) im glad i got it done though

  • Why not just get pills!

  • @DarkestEyeliner DO YOU NOT!? see how redneck they are their not worried about taking a pill everyday their tryning go MUDDEN' fucken rednecks

  • I wish they would have showed him washing his hands if he wasn't going to use gloves. Makes me sick!

  • the doctor doesnt need gloves!!! all instraments are sterlized and he applied anticeptic creme on her arm and no doubt he washed is hands with antibacterial soap as most doctors do

  • Wanting to change my birth control method from pills to possibly this. What are the side effects, pros and cons? Please respond soon.

  • @lilywolftail I've had this for around 5 years now (2 implants, second one put in about 2 years ago after having the 1st one removed on the same day)

Everyone is different and your body may react differently than mine did, but the only con i had was gaining a little weight, though it is hard to say if that was the implant as my weight has always gone up and down.

  • Technically, handwashing between patients is for the safety of the patient. Gloves are actually for the protection of the healthcare worker.

Germs transfer just as easy from dirty hands as used gloves.

  • oh man gonna get mine done soon...shitting it! lool

it looks worse than it acutally is probally lool

    x

  • When i got mine done it didnt hurt but it hurts after...and u have a huge bruise...my doctor used gloves to.

  • i have mine done and i love it <3 why isnt he wearing gloves????

  • muh nurse jst stuck tha implant right in me i didnt have to go threw 2 shots or have to get tht mark thingy done to me and she wore gloves but its nt so bad but i had a huge long bruse on muh arm after tht but i hate it now cuz i have abnormal periods and iv had it already for a year it sucks=/

  • ok so got Implanon in March....started having prolonged bleeding and had side effects that made me feel pregnant....made appt to get it out...Dr...couldn't feel it...was sent for ultrasound.....now Dr has me going for MRI this Saturday and possible surgery :-(....wish I never got it!!!!

  • i'm gonna get it and just watching i want to faint

  • OMG ¬_¬ This is gross..I'm like well scared of getting mine done!! :(

  • @Xslipknot1995X its actually not bad. after the numbing shot, which isnt even that bad, you dont feel a thing and any other discomfort is gone in like a week. easy done.

  • i just got this done yesterday i didnt see what they did i was to afriad to look lolol.

  • @MissSue18 I got mine done last week and didn't watch it either lol.

  • How painful is the numbing shot?

  • @Gracie05452 its not too bad

  • wow! NO GLOVES WTF

  • first a I go to the dentist and she was chewing gum while workin with my mouth, now i see this doctor with no gloves!!! OHHH GOD! HUMANITY!!!!! o.O

  • no puedo creer que tenga mas procesos sanitarios un tatuador que el hombre que esta haciendo el procedimiento...

  • GLOVES!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the worst part are the periods....... 3 week period and spotting a month for 1 year...... no whonder is soooo efective .......is because the blood... no sex .......... it suckss........ is ok if you dont have sex or dont want to....... but i get it because i really want to enjoy it........ but with 3 week period..... dont worth it ...im getting it removed going back to the pill

  • I have had this in for about 1yr...it sucks. I thought it was the best thing ever...but I soon found out that I had gained over 100lbs within weeks(I normally portion out my food). I also had signs of pregnancy (movement,vomiting...etc) and horrible periods. I would not recommend this. I'm getting mine removed today cuz I can't take it anymore. good luck for those who do get it. I wouldn't do it over again if I could. no thank you.

  • @cookielee1031 basically the same with me but with out the weight gain and i was on my period for a full year non stop and i had it in the full three year, just got it removed today :)

  • No gloves.. ew.

  • No gloves stupid people thats how you get aids.

  • hey girls i had this yesterday, i got reli upset coz im like a lil girl when i have needles but honestly it DOES NOT HURT, you have the anesthetic which is like a little pinch and thats all you can feel. Go for it girls its worth having, its affective and pain free.

  • GLOVES ANYONE!!!!!!

  • i dnt like it... i hav no periods maybe every once in a blue moon.. i sleep n eat alot i gain at leat 20 to 25 pounds after the implanon n i had it a yr.. and i hav barley any sex drive... it sucks....

  • It looks kind of painful

And how would they take it out

  • I have had this birth control for alomost a year. The only side affect I have had is lighter period and that is a plus. I would reccomend this to anyone!! I did not hurt getting it. It did bruise and itch for a day or so, but nothing major. However everybody is different, some people may have more side affects and problems but i wouldnt knock it until you have tried it. And don't be stupid like some of these people are commenting on here, about take it out yourself....that is just stupid!

  • And no it didn't hurt at all...but I am not a pussy, I can handle pain...two natural births with not one bit of pain meds!!!

  • To all the people making comments about the gloves and my doctor, that is me in the video. He is a wonderful doctor and knows exactly what he is doing. I trust him with my life...it's not you, so don't worry about it....he has been a doctor for a while and a great one! Couldn't find a better one....Thanks Dr Waddell for all your help...especially keep my babies healthly during pregnancy and after...and the birth control for sure...won't be seeing you for a couple of years...lol

  • I loved it!!!!! she need to wrap her arm up! my arm had bandages ,

  • I loved it!!!!!

  • Is this man a real doctor or someone cheap in a third world country lol.

  • Comment removed

  • That doc is really capable. people who are moaning about the gloves don't know what they are talking about. he disinfected the area and didnt touch any needle or part of the implanon that was going to be inserted subdermal. And the ease in which he inserted the implanon... very well done! this dude performs this procedure all the time, thats for sure

  • What the hell?!!!!!!! No gloves??????????? Uh Doc Can U put some damn gloves on before u touch me please.

  • if i were you i wouldn't hae let him go ahead with the procedure unless he was wearing gloves.. common sense would tell him to wear gloved ^o)

  • this is what happens when your doctor is a hillbilly

anyone else releaved these two won't be breeding though?

  • Not only the gloves, but he didn't give it much time to get numb.. Did u feel it at all? My doctor gave it 5 minutes to get completely numb before inserting it..

  • I have it my self and they used needles to numb that bit. It doesn't hurt at all. Very intresting though. And the dokter is a douch bad for not using gloves.

  • does it hurt it looks really painful ;'(

  • @lynzpinz1 not really.

  • forget it. i'm sticking with my depo.

  • wow that was so proffesional of him not to wear any gloves.. what kind of facility is this..

  • hmm so does this doctor not belive in gloves?!?!?!

  • @circuitmedic They don't need gloves. They wash their hands with desinfection stuff before doing it. I got it done today. Nothing to waorry about.

  • don't get this... i got mine in november of last year and i have horrible pains in my arms i wake up nauseous and i have bad headaches from it. I'm getting it taken out.

  • @kacieglamourrr allergic reaction ! must get that checked out

  • @dexter1673138

well i don't have them anymore it just happened that day.

  • No bandage to stop the bruising, no gloves and he didn't even wait for the anaesthetic to kick in

  • First thing I noticed, no gloves!

  • i got mine put in a week ago and im going to get it removed today. Ive had bad migraines for the past 5 days with constant very painful period pains so bad it makes me sick. Putting it in was a breese and i am glad I tried it. I'm not worried about getting it out at all.

If your thinking of gettign one, it's worth a try. don't be too put off by others experiences as everyone is different.

  • no gloves for a subdermal procedure ummm........ not sanitary or procedure :(

  • i got mine in october or november -- i forgot which. But it didn't hurt much at all -- the only part that bothered was the numbing. I drove home right after, it was sore but I was able to drive haha. The side effects were random periods and now I don't have any! YAAAAAAY.

  • I'm not really feeling any side effects at the moment only 1 at the moment which is sex drive decreased my periods have stopped all together and i'm happy with my implant and its worth it i totally agree no baby's for 3 years with this protection i'm also with mine i'm losing weight

  • i got mine last year and i am TERRIFIED of getting it removed!!!! i wish they would put me to sleep or something. uugghhh.. oh well 3 years not having a baby i guess its worth it.

by the side effects that im experiencing right now are EXTREMELY light periods and im not really into sex right now.. and maybe a little weight gain.. but im probably just being a fat ass.

  • I had mine done a week ago on monday i didn't hurt or feel anything only hurt the 2 next days with the bruising i just kept ice on mine, its worth it in the end its heal up really nice now.

  • it isn't bad at all..!! really worth it =D

  • mine was done way diffrent my arm wasnt up it was down i wasnt reclined i was lying flat on my back they didnt use the disinfectent that stains your skin it was like a wipe then they injected anasthetic then they left it for a while to let it go numb then they checked if it was numb then they put the implant in and they put a bandage on other than a plaster

  • Anyone concerned that this doctor is not using GLOVES!!!!!! What the fuck????

  • @circuitmedic Sometimes they don't use them so they can feel the placement of the rod better. sometimes its hard with the glove.

  • @circuitmedic YUPP 1ST THING I NOTICED. EW!

  • @circuitmedic I was thinking the same thing!

  • @circuitmedic Yes he is. They are tight fitting and ransparent so you have to look closely, but he's wearing them.

  • @circuitmedic lol. I didn't notice until you said something.. my doctor used gloves.

  • @circuitmedic maybe he is using som kind of gel in stead of gloves they do that here in sweden at least :)

  • @circuitmedic He's using medical asepsis so it's okay. It's external

  • is that how you do it in england too? or is this how you do it in america?

  • so I got this done. I must say the procedure did not hurt one bit not even when I got numbed. however afterwards when the bruising started my arm ached a lot but i'm glad I got it

  • woah im thinking of getting this im in the pill and i forget to take it around th same hour so i thought i'd get thiks it may look horrid but you only need to change it every 3 years so it aint bad

  • I'm getting this done next friday... I'm glad they have something like this cause I sure as hell wouldn't get the Mirena IUD

  • Good luck :) It was very painful, but absolutely totally worth it.

  • i got myn 5 days ago n i only felt the injection for numbing me arm n than that was it i neva felt anythink els so im gllad the injection workd lol my arm is saw like still n i cnt move it in certin possisions bt it wil wer of

  • Yeah, mine was like that aswell, but it's all fine now. It felt a bit itchy for a while aswell, but apparently that's just my body getting used to it. Anyway, it's just soooo much easier than the pill.

  • mine is itchy like a mother right now lol

  • what happend to gloves?and wrapping ur arm?

  • Please girls do not get this birth control it causes so many problems I got so sick of mine i cut it out myself

  • @jenny3356 I've been considering doing the same thing.

  • what side effects do u have that make u wanan cut it out haha

  • weight gain, decreased sex drive, extremely light periods (which isnt such a bad thing!) severe mood swings, etc etc. still got it in though!

  • what side effects did u have?

  • Some side effects are gaining weight, increased or decreased sex drive, heavier or lighter periods (They can even last for months or stop completely but they tend to settle down after 6 months or so). I think there may be more, try googling them if you want to know more.

  • Well. That was a silly thing to do. You could have got it removed properly..

  • @jenny3356

i was thinking of having one put in. Could you please let me know why you didnt like it??

  • I have my baby in 4 weeks and i cant wait to get mine. You made it seem so easy.

  • It did hurt quite a lot when I got mine put in and it was very painful the night after. But since then, it's got a lot better and I don't even notice it about a week after. I think it's a lot better than taking a pill everyday, even though I never thought that was much of a hassle.

  • i cryed like mad and was nealy fainting and shit wen i got myn in ! now i get myn out on wednesday and im shitting it lol x

  • How come you're getting it taken out? It did really hurt when it was put in, but how come?

  • the side effects was too bad! could not cope no more .. myn really hurt when it was put in . but hurt more comeing out :(

  • FRIDAAAAAAAAAY!
