  • how much is it gona cost 4 that kinda of bike

  • howmuch did it cost to build one and what is the tops speed.

  • calafornia sucks. not allowed. dont live there.

  • looks awesome man where did u get the engine at i want to make my beach cruiser like that

  • 1:30 "its a centrifugal clutch"

that's not a centrifugal clutch, its a friction clutch.

    Big Difference ;D

  • @MrPyromaniac1234 Yes your right! someone else corrected me on that as well. I should probably put an annotation on the video. I didn't know it was called a friction clutch though. Thanks for that! I said centrifugal clutch because thats what it says on the assembly instructions book. They don't even know what it is. How dumb!

  • i like the laugh in there. I just finished mine. Its so fun. What state are you in?

  • Hey I am considering buying one, i'm 15 and live in michigan. Would this work on a 24" frame with front suspension?

Also, are electric ones any good or would you recomend gas over electric?

    I'd appreciate a reply, thanks.

  • @AlperBacon3 u want a 2 stroke gas id recomend doing it on a 26 in i got one

  • There's something very arousing in the way she says, " alright, you want to ride it?" @1:34.

  • I understand. I'm in the same boat. I sure would like to get rid of the tensioner on mine.

  • @ratpilot You can get rid of it. You have to install a JackShaft kit. It connects the motor to a special flywheel you install at the peddle. It lets the motor use the bikes own gears. It's like a manual shift motorcycle.

  • @kdessinger where do you get that JackShaft kit?

  • @kevinmoore001 You can get it from (sick bike parts dot com) and will run you about $275 with shipping.. I think they call it a shift kit now.

  • @kdessinger Thanks man , I checked it out. I think I'm going to go with a pull start kit next. gasbike.net

  • My son is dieing for one, hes 14, is it legal to ride in New York?

  • @WhoTubeProductions Yes it is completely legal to ride as long as your following all the regular bicycle laws. The only restrictions I've seen is people post 'No Motorized vehicles' signs on most common bike trails. It would be illegal to engage the engine in that situation.

  • @WhoTubeProductions it is legal in New York. It operates under the same laws as a bicycle.

  • @kdessinger Awesome, may I ask what site you bought the kit from?

  • @kdessinger It operates the same laws as a regular bicycle? Wow.. Awesome.

  • Do you think a 80cc engine would fit a hybrid bike ? I'm thinking of buying one but i'm not sure .. Please Reply !!

  • @CGM350 It will fit ANY bike as long as it's a V-Frame style.

  • Solid video, I'm getting one . can you post videos of installing this?

  • Your drive chain looks loose. I would remove some links in the chain and see if you can remove enough to get rid of the chain tensioner.

  • @ratpilot It only looks loose.. It's actually the perfect tension. I spent hours trying to find the perfect tension. 1 less link and it won't fit, 1 more link and it won't fit. This is the only option. Also, I've never had a chain fall off yet.

  • A friend told me about your video - Appreciate it

  • My friend said I had to checkout your video

  • if you live in canada just dont get caught.cause if theu want to be pricks its large fines and say bye bye to the bike.

  • It's really noisy!

What is the top speed you can get on it? A heavy scooter with a 49cc engine can reach speeds of up to 50-70 km/h, so surely this bike can go PRETTY fast, right?

  • @hassoun6 If you peddle and have the motor going you can hit 30Mph.

  • boss

  • that bike need a overhaul add some affects

  • wow are you sure you dont need a licence, by the way i live in the UK so you know.

Thanks for the video, great bike man

  • how fast can that go?

  • @tjsst162 Max speed is just under 30mph (While you are peddling)

  • that is awesome, how much does the kit weigh with a full tank of gas?

  • @coloradoclimber The kit will add 17Lbs. to your bicycle. This bike was 29Lbs with a full tank of gas.

  • what do you mean some chinese models?? are there some that are made somewhere else?

  • @bigdiesels Yeah, Honda make a japaneese model. I've never seen anything 'Made in the USA' though. Probably gets too good of gas mileage for that.

  • Very Cool!! I wish electric would perform like that. I've considered one of those electric hub kits, but 80ccs looks like the way to go.

  • @stephen3398 The 80cc can run for hours and hours while the electric motor can run 15-30 mins. You know what would be cool? If you could install both electric and gas, then while the gas motor is engaged it will charge the electric motor. It's like a hybrid for your bike. Just a thought.

  • I just saw these kits online, they are TIGHT... I want to get one, but damn EPA regs in CA won't let me. im gonna have to ship through Nevada or something.

  • wha do you mean nobody in ca could have ??i wanna get one i live in la is there gonna be a prob??

  • @DanDavM You should have no problem getting it shipped to you. You can buy non EPA certified engines in Cali. You just cannot register it with the DMV. Which doesn't matter too much anyway.

  • HI Great Bike, how can I get the info to make my cycle do this ? Thanks :)

  • i have a bmx how can i put on a bike engine on it and let it work ?

  • you just need a v frame to mount the motor but i wouldnt use it for bmx stunts because the engine will make the bike HEAVY and you wouldnt want to to land on you.

  • that, and the motor will NOT fit

  • @TheStiaan They won't install on all BMX bikes. Check out sickbikeparts website and look at their front page. They have a BMX style bike there that was equipped with a motor. It's a tight fit but will work.

  • @kdessinger and/or a site called motorbicycling

  • @TheStiaan Yes but the V-Frame must clear. There are only a handful of BMX bike that will work, but they will. I've seen a BMX bike with a motor at a show once.

  • its not a cintrifical cluch if it was it would not have a cluch leaver and it would roll

  • Yes, you are right! I'm sorry that I said it in the video.. The only reason I said it was centrifugal was because the Chinese instructions said that it was... After looking it up on Wikipedia, I wish it was centrifugal. That would rock, and auto trans bike.

  • @luk1324 Yeah your right. I kinda wish it did have one. It would be more like a moped.

  • i just ordered a 80cc grubee skyhawk, do you think it could operate in a extremely hilly region

  • Its epically good on extremely hilly surfaces.

  • how do you start it?

  • It has a clutch on the handle bar just like a motorcycle. To start to you need a little momentum then release the clutch and the motor will engage. You can also buy an optional pull starter but then you have to extend your crank pedals or it will hit the motor.

  • how long will the clutch last? how much does it cost for a new one? and what seller did you buy it from?

  • The clutch doesn't go out. Some Chinese models have a pot metal lever that tends to break. Just order a steel or alloy lever and your fine.

  • would u get burn in the motor? coz its hot. right? so tis just like a scooter ? was it worth to buy this? thanks a lot. and it would be a good help for your response as im planning to buy ... thanks again

  • no i have never gotten a burn, it does get hot enough to burn flesh, it saves gas and it is fun to ride so yes i think its well worth it

  • nice bike I was thinking of doing the same but I looked up NY DMV and they say you can not ride on streets I see your in NY do they give you a hard time with that ?

  • Who is They? Are you talking about a DMV employee or the New York State - DOT laws? Police do not even notice that its a motorbike and if they did it complies with all current NYS-DOT laws regarding human/petrol vehicles. Just don't be stupid when driving in the streets. Road signs apply to bikers as well. Best of Luck!

  • they are NY state DMV and say Motor-assisted Bicycle - a bicycle to which a small motor is attached. A motor-assisted bicycle does not qualify for a registration as a motorcycle, moped or ATV and does not have the same equipment.

These devices are not allowed on any street, highway, parking lot, sidewalk

  • HEY CAN DO DRIVE WITH THIS

  • how do u get it to idle with out your engine shutting off because on mine when ever i stop if put it in neutril it will shut off

  • Adjust the idle control screw. It's the screw on the carb with the spring around it. Start your bike and give it a quater turn clockwise to increase the idle control.

  • Ware did you get it,

I Google it and all i can find is the Chinese brand

    thanks in advance

  • It is a Chinese brand motor. The parts that come with it a really cheap but the motor itself is pretty durable. I just order them off of eBay.

  • throddle sticks motor mount broke everything that can go wrong did and i dumped it three times trial & error looks like i wasted 300

  • I ride all my bikes HARD and I've never crashed. If you decided to use the Chinese motor mounts then you have to readjust them after the first and second ride. They are cheap and not recommend for use.

  • can you tell me where you get your kits from. They all seem to be the same cheap kit from a different seller (all claiming theirs is better).

  • note to all riders cheap fenders cause crashes

lol i wear a helmet thank gawd

  • Ut-Oh! What happened? Did you wreck it?

  • lol ill send ya a picture

  • i also ordered a retro springer front fork 35 bucks 15 Shipping

  • have you heard of the jackshaft? It's a small shaft that sends the enenrgy from the motor to a speical front freewheel at the peddles. You can use the bike gears to shift with the jackshaft. but man it makes your bike FAST!

  • weel if u use a 36 teeth is fats anyway

  • just paid 80 bucks to fix the warped rim and ground down tire from rubbing the chain lol

  • Damn! You got ripped.. You could have got a whole parts bike off craig'slist for $80. :) Oh well, at least its all fixed and working now.

  • i also used aircraft apoxy and a better bolt setup on the motor mount plate all i have left to do is pop the links in the chain i used a walmart huffy beach cruiser the kit will work on it but lots of extra mods have to be done best thing to do buy the bike and motor kit from the at the same place or get a fully built one frome a scooter shop its not a fun job installing with no paper work lol

  • That is totally crappy man! My kits have come with various instruction sets but in all the cases the install kits are cheap. I found a universal mount at autozone that seems to work. It's in the towing section and they are called stabilizer bushings. $20 a pop but they are heavy duty. What else are you having trouble with? Do you have pics? maybe I can guide you.

  • the kit i got had no paper work in the box i made an adapter to self center the sprocket it took longer to make then it did to install the sprocket

  • installing the sprocket seems the hardest part...how did you do it?!

  • Acutally the sprocket is the easiest part. That's the very first thing I do. You take the back wheel off and install the sprocket against to oppsite side the normal gear cassette is on. It's held in place with 2 heavy rubber gaskets and about 12 metal bolts.

  • Nice pickup @ 1:56. I just bought one of these kits, cant wait for it to get here.

  • Each state has laws based on engine displacement for registration needs. You would have to google it for your state but here in Texas you have to register anything that has 50cc's or more. In New York it's 110cc or more to register.

  • its actually 66 cc. there has been a whole argument about this but they just have to advertise it at 80 cc. my friend did that to his bike

  • I liked the first bike better. That one had a really stiff clutch. It was really hard to pull the clutch in but it starts on the first try. This new bike has a very easy clutch but I actually have to use the choke if its been sitting. I'm going to stick with the straight mountain bike handlebars next time too.. Maybe a chopper bike. :)

  • How far can the bike go with full tank

  • It depends on how many hills are in your path. Full throttle it gets around 150mpg.

  • looks ace, i`ve orderd one just waiting for it to come, might be here on friday or next week! :D

what is the furthest milage you done on it in one ride?

  • I took it from waterford, NY to Lake George, NY and back.. Round trip was about 100 miles and I did it on 1 tank of gasoline. It holds 1/2 gallon of gas. I would shut the motor off when coasting and I also used a Pulse Star spark plug to increase efficiency.

  • how much oil do you have to mix in it?

  • I use 2.5oz of oil for every 1 Gallon of fuel. I also use the lowest grade fuel (87 octane In TX) but some people use the good stuff. I don't know which is better yet.

  • That's very very Cool,it looks like it is fast how can I get a kit for my bike thanks...

  • Order one off eBay
